The Allfather had come to her in a dream, warning her of disaster if she were to stay within Menagerie. The sign, a family lost, was enough to make Bellamy uncomfortable. After a talk with Gav, who had confirmed to her she was indeed pregnant, the decision was clear. They needed to speak with Wren and leave. They had not made the choice that their Divinities agreed with. The woman sat beside her mate on the deck, heart pounding in her chest. The Allfather, Nox, had appeared before her, before the bodies of unborn children, and warned them if they didn’t fix the pack they were in there would be consequences. Gav might not have understood why staying in a particular pack might cause his mate to miscarry… and all he could assume were that the Divinities were angry with their choice.
