Second round for this will go up after five days, or after three characters (excluding Dread) respond ^^
This will be a very basic pup friendly lesson, but adults are welcome to attend as well!

Oh, how she absolutely loved puppies. They'd come into this world small, potato shaped, and in far greater number than Halo could have expected. For what it was worth, and despite concerns about her age, it seemed that Zee had recovered well. For that, Halo was glad. Still, it seemed that not all of the pups were quite... were quite well. Sure, they were well enough, but Halo had her concerns. A worrier. Always a worrier. The healer would keep close watch over each of them in turn, but some more carefully than others.

It seemed, too, that she'd acquired a bit of a shadow. For the time that she'd spent working in the garden, one of the young boys had come to her aid. It wasn't unlike Basilisk had last spring, a thought that brought a smile to Halo's face. Though Dread didn't speak much, his questions were keen and his desire to learn admirable. After the boy had presented Halo with a mature lavender sprig, Halo couldn't help but call for the rest of the pups... or anyone else who wanted to learn. If any had an interest in healing, now would be as good a time as any. Some of the lavender was about ready to be picked, and it was never to early to start the drying process.

From her spot near one of the carefully kept flower beds, Halo called. "Does anyone want to help me bring some lavender in?" Though her voice was soft, the acoustics in the Col were adequate. She could teach them all about the plant while they started with the harvest.

"Speech"

Dread won't voice it, but he's attached himself to Halo... at least today. She was a healer, they said. She could make others better. She could fix them. Dread wants to fix his sisters, his brother. He wants to absorb what he can from Halo's brain so that maybe he can make them better too. He can fix his sisters' sight. He can fix his brother's leg. He can fix them all... as long as he learns enough. As long as Halo teaches him absolutely everything that he can possibly absorb from her brain. In the end, Dread would save them all. He was sure of it.

Saving them all, fixing them all, started small. The boy, with his not quite cooperative joints and slightly awkward gait, brought Halo a sprig of... something. It smelled nice. It seemed to smell just the same as Halo did, or maybe... maybe Halo smelled like this? Something like that. The prince brought the plant forward, looking to the healer for answers. "What does it do?" Instead of an answer he got a knowing smile, a request for him to wait just a moment. She called for help. It took Dread a moment of thought to realize that this wasn't a rejection. This was an invitation for more of them to come... was his help not good enough? Would they need more?

But Dread chased the thought from his head, and he waited for the rest to arrive. Right. Learning.
