Bellamy’s wanderings had led her to yet another unfamiliar Eastern land. This time she had accidentally descended into the very bowels of the earth into an area that was both open and yet, at the same time, felt so suffocating, so closed off, even if it did offer shelter from the wind or other elements, she supposed. It smelled musky, almost like death itself lingered here. Bellamy drew in a breath and then expelled it with a loud snort. There was only one word for a place like this; creepy. It reminded her of what she thought the inside of a grave would be like after a wolf was buried, bones scattered about and it smelled of the earth. Perhaps, she mused to herself as she turned back the way she came, it would be better to avoid exploring this place altogether!
