Mouser first please.

She was given a rank within the large pack called Valhalla, a Sigma, hunter. Seraphine would not let her Alphess down, nor her father, that's why she headed out as soon as she could the next day, sniffing out the woman known as Ashtoreth, her teacher.

She moved quickly through the lands, paws nearly gliding over the earth. Her good right ear would swivel around, listening, waiting for somebody to approach her. After a failed search of about an hour though she would come to a stop, sitting atop a lone boulder in the plains. Slowly she lift her head, jaws a jar before letting loose her smooth tone, summoning the woman, and anyone who wished to join or observe.

Walk | Talk | Think

Since the pack meeting, Ashtoreth had been doing her best to keep herself busy. The last thing she had wanted to do was consider too heavily what all had been said, what all awaited them in the future. War. Fighting. Unrest. It was all too much for her, really. She enjoyed the peace, the tranquility, knowing that her home was safe as she was in it. To be able to relax after a well executed hunt or spare a moment to catch up with the few true friends she could name among her pack mates was a dream come true. In all honesty, she was incredibly happy with the way things were.

It was a terrible shame change was an inevitable thing.

She had been out scouting, making her way through the sparse wooded areas of Valhalla in search of hidden prey, herds that might have taken shelter within the few meadows that resided alongside the forests and plains. So far she had been able to locate a family of hares, a skittish raccoon, and had heard the sound of a boar, but not the large herds she had been searching for. It was rather disappointing; she had been hoping to find some big game that she might enlist the help of her hunters to catch. Hunters. She loved being able to say the word in its plural form.

Interrupting her ventures, Ashtoreth paused amid the trees to perk her ears and listen as another wolf beckoned her, for a moment surprising her into stillness. Who was it who called for her? It was rare that she had anyone single her out for anything - particularly since the lean grey hunter had been doing her best to keep the cache of available food well stored for the rest of the pack - but a sudden notion struck her that caused a wide smile to spread across her face and for her mood to pick up further than it already was. This might have been one of her hunters.

Without wasting time, she abandoned her search and set out quickly toward the caller, leaving the shelter of the trees and bounding through the plentiful grasses that covered the plains of their home. The other was easy to spot, a dark figure elevated above the grasses so as to spot her approach. Ashtoreth wagged her tail in hello before she arrived, sure that the other would spot her as she neared, and waited until she had maneuvered enough through the grasses to fully see the female seated upon the boulder to speak. Immediately she took in the state of the she-wolf, scarred and a little tattered, but looking as if she had a good spirit about her. Ash admired her already.

"Hello there," she greeted, smiling brightly, "I take it you know who I am." How else would she have been able to call to her directly otherwise? "Are you one of my hunters?" she asked cheerily, hoping she would be correct. So much she wished to meet with all of them and learn where they would function well once they began their group hunts, and the sooner she had them all figured out the sooner they would begin providing for their pack the way it was meant to be done.

It did not take long for the woman to appear after Seraphine had called, Astoreth, a beautiful shewolf in Valhalla, baring wonderful violet eyes. Though her own were a bit strange the girl thought the woman's were far prettier. As she grew near the girl would dip her head to the woman, corners of her lips lifting into a small smile as she greeted her. Upon noting how Seraphine probably knew who she was already she would nod her head, then again when she asked if the girl was one of her hunters.

Clearing her throat Seraphine would push herself up then make a small hop down, giving a small brief shake then raising her head with the smile still there. ?Miss Ashtoreth, I am Seraphine, a newly named hunter at the meeting. I called hoping I would be able to get a lesson from you.? She would answer. The girl tried to keep her tone calm and smooth but some anxiousness managed to sneak in a bit. The scarred girl wanted to learn, gain the knowledge on hunting for herself and to help keep the bellies of her packmates full, she also wanted to make Demonio proud, show him how much she is growing and learning. A daughter he would be proud of.

Walk | Talk | Think

With the boulder's use complete, Ashtoreth was grateful that Seraphine chose next to bound down off of it and join her upon level ground. It would have been a little strange carrying on the conversation having to speak up to her at such an angle, particularly with her relatively small stature and the rock only adding to the dark colored youth's already impressive size. But for the smile about her face as she positioned herself comfortably once off the rock, Ash knew their size differences would make no differences. She seemed respectful and mindful of the older wolf's expertise and rank, not overly confident or boastful either, and so it was expected that their meeting would go over very well.

"Perfect!" the lean grey wolf responded with a grin, her tail sweeping through the air eagerly behind her. Perhaps it was just a little too obvious just how excited she was to have actual hunters in need of training, and even more excited to note that these hunters were just as eager to be trained. "I was hoping to do this individually first anyway. No sense throwing you all into a hunt without knowing where you stand. Someone could get hurt that way." But that was neither here nor there for the time being. She was going to get a chance to train them the way she had intended, and that was what she needed to focus on.

"Right. Well, first things first. How well do you think you are at tracking?" Straightforward but with a course already set in mind, Ash gave the girl a chance to vocalize her own skills, assuming by her genuine vibe so far that any answer received would have been honest if not slightly underplayed. Either would have been fine with Ashtoreth. It was those who oversold themselves that tended to cause the most problems. Though already she was making a note of the girl's naturally larger size and supposed strength that would back it, working out a way to use that and her mild mannered personality to their benefit once the hunting truly began.

It was obvious the woman was happy, as it to be able to teach her how to hunt or just that she had some company while things were getting crazy with Glaciem? Whatever it was Seraphine didn't mind, she seemed nice, and she was a new person she could possibly befriend. Her single good ear would perk up as she spoke up, explaining how she was hoping to do this individually instead of throwing them into a hunt without knowing what the girl could handle. She gave a nod of her head, that was very understandable.

Next, Ashtoreth would ask Seraphine how well she was at tracking. She would tilt her head to the side the slightest, thinking over how she was with such a thing. The girl didn't really pay much attention to the things she did, just did them. When she had messed with a few people it was because she had seen them before she scented them, and there was only one time she didn't, that was when she found Sephiroth's scent leaving the pack lands.

Clearing her throat she would look back to the woman. "I'm not too sure really, I never really payed attention to how well I tracked something." She looked to the right for a brief moment, then back to the woman. "I can track scents okay, as long as they aren't too jumbled with other things, and as for tracking signs of something... big animals I can do since they disturb things around them, but little ones give me trouble." Honest, understanding what she can and can't do, and not bragging.
