There were pests already! She couldn't believe it. Those little rodents with their black masks peered at her from the little dens they made. Not far from the oasis lakeside, she could hear them chitter and scurry around the sands. Unsure of what they really were, Celeste thought she had heard mention that they were called meerkats. Not that they looked anything like a cat, that she could confirm as she peered at her own midnight-coated companion that lounged by her side. With Kuroki off being a diplomat and Zoey investigating the different fauna and flora of their new home, Celeste was pleased to call for Arne's help. Letting out a quick call for the tusked boy to join her in her mission, Celeste rose from her spot in the shade. Once Arne had approached, she sent a smile in his direction. "Want to play a game?" She asked with a chirp in her tone as she led them not far into the dunes. Stopping a good distance away, she pointed a paw in the direction of the meerkats. "Whoever captures the most of those little shits gets to pick what we have for dinner tonight," her aquamarine gaze moved toward Arne as her lips pulled into a smirk. "Sound fair?" Celeste asks with a twist of an ear and a twitch of her tail. |
