Snow Berries?

Charlton had let curiosity get the better of him. They had been allowed to visit the Hallows and so what better way than spend the time exploring unfamiliar lands? Sure it’d be better if he was being a bit more social too, but first, he wanted to see where these other kids lived! Charlie had set off from the castle, through the plains, and finally arrived at the third territory that the Hallows held. Unlike the castle and the plains that were affected by magical autumn, the grove was within the grips of winter.

Though snow covered the ground Charlie could see the various shrubs that were scattered about. In warmer seasons these bushes would be covered by a plethora of different berries… right now there were only these red ones and Charlie wasn’t even sure if they were safe to eat them. The bushes were various sizes too, suggesting different types of berries were grown on them. Curious he approached one of the bare bushes and knocked some snow off… though it didn’t really give him any idea of what type of bush it was.

Darn.
