Call me down
Beau and Mika
The two graves lay side by side on the entrance to one of the mines. Mounds of ice, one of the graves was very old though still decorated with stones and dying flowers from past wolves laying things here. Vereux was a man Fenix had never met. His grandfather who had been part of a well known family. He remembered not the name though Ancora did still speak to him. He carried traits from Avalon whom his mother had told him stories about. Fenix had not gotten to speak to these two all that much. He wish he'd been closer to his mother, perhaps if he'd had some family connections he wouldn't have felt so alone as he did since his daughter's death. He tried to think of Bellamy and the future that he had set forth for the grove. He had to at least achieve SOMETHING in his life he could be proud of talking about.
His head turned when he heard paw steps though. He stayed cautious until he saw the familiar striped form of Tanelan. Though judging by the crouched and needy expression for hatred Fenix could assume Mika was currently affront. Mika had said he wanted to bring a friend to him. Fenix blinked, "Mika, I see that you've brought that friend you spoke of." the man shook out the snow from his fur. Standing in front of the graves as he met the dark male's eyes.
He was fucking freezing. Why did Fenix have to drag them here. Sure the north was warmer with the summer sun but he was tired and he wasn't sure how much longer he would be here as he was. Mika promised himself he would bring beau here. That's exactly what he did, but without anger to fuel him he didn't know what to do. Frustration bubbled up in him and when Fenix spoke he came face to face with the male his teeth obviously bared. "I'm tired, hungry, and bored. Get on with it already doctor." he growled before backing down.
He sat beside Beau, pointing a paw to Fenix. "Fenix, Beau, Beau, Fenix." he wasn't too keen on all this healing stuff. Yet he knew that Fenix didn't have trouble communicating with him that was for sure. He was a damn good healer and he believed that. He was doing this for himself, if Tanelan didn't get the life he wanted then none of them... None of them could see a future with themselves. His ear twitched.

Beauregard had followed Mika though he wasn’t sure what to make of what he was feeling. His anxiety was high, messing with his brain as he followed after the purple-furred wolf. It almost felt like it was hard to breathe, though from illness, or from his anxiety, he didn’t know. It felt like his limbs were shaking with each step, and he found it hard to pick up on where they were going. He just wanted this whole ordeal over with. Blind trotted at his paws, worried for the wolf companion that she had gotten to know. “You’re going to be just fine, Beau.” The fox told him. Trill was close by as well, keeping an eye on things above. At last, it seemed they had found the one they were looking for. The male greeted Mika, though it seemed Mika was having none of the pleasantries that Fenix offered. Beauregard sat on the ground, drawing in a shuddering breath as he lifted his blue gaze to green hues. “I don’t feel right.” The ashen cream yearling told him. “It started with me feeling off, during the Summer event that Menagerie was holding… I don’t know… my head was feeling weird like I was both here and not… and now it feels like I’m swimming in my own head, seeing as if I’m watching from a distance… It’s hard to focus and breathe…” Beauregard flicked his ears back and he whined. “Please help…” Beau didn’t realize he had gotten sick, needing rest… and that by stressing over his illness it manifested even worse, his anxiety increasing the longer it went on. He groaned, his head starting to pound again. He just wanted this to stop. "Talk, 'Think.' |
He hadn't expected to have Mika find him while he was visiting his relative's graves. Though a part of him wondered if the mines would be a good place for the grove.... yet then again he wasn't sure if he wanted the grove to be centered in the north. Fenix concentration went towards the yearling where he began explaining to the man his symptoms. The male approached him gently. "Let me have a look at you." already from his body language Fenix had a general idea. The healer began to gently sniff Beau checking his muzzle, his chest, and his sides. No physical injuries as he suspected. "Hard to focus and you can't breath?" he asked to confirm. From what it seemed the young man was having a panic attack.
"Have you been hearing any... voices or maybe like a pull of some kind?" he looked at Mika for a moment, the grumpy wolf snorting before looking away without a response. "I want you to try and concentrate on taking deep breaths, try not to think about anything but the breath understand. At least three seconds in and three seconds out." Fenix took in a deep breath through his jaws, before expunging the breath out again slowly. "I have some herbs for you." Fenix turned to the graves for a moment before to the small herb store outside of the mines. "If you're ready you can take a look if you'd like. These herbs are common enough to find." if he was certain this was a panic attack then this would help in most situations.
ooc: We can skip Mika for now for continuation purposes, he's there watching.

Beauregard could feel anxiety welling up within himself as Fenix drew closer to take a look at him. Even now he felt stressed, that feeling like he couldn’t breathe washing over him once more. It was something that Beau didn’t have a name for. Whatever it was, however, was scary. It caused him to shiver, a whimper falling from his lips as he tried to meet Fenix’s green gaze. He just wanted to feel okay. He didn’t like this, at all. “Yeah… It seems to get worse, the more I try to focus on why I feel this way.” Beau flicked his ears back against his skull. “I… I don’t think so?” He couldn’t remember hearing any voices or anything. “Maybe like I need to get away from something? But I don’t know what that something is.” Beauregard tried to relax, doing as Fenix asked. He had to concentrate on his breathing, slowly in, and then slowly out. It was hard, coming out kind of bumpy as he forced it. He furrowed his brow. “I noticed it started when I noticed the crowd at the Summer Fest…” He explained. “...and I think it got worse when Menagerie fell apart… I wanted to speak with Wren… and that made it worse too… but now she’s gone.. and…” He had stopped focus on his breathing, tears pricking at his eyes as he rambled on as Fenix motioned for him to look at the herbs. He stepped forward, shaking a little as he looked down at them. Medicine… He whined again, glancing at Fenix. “W-what herbs are these?” "Talk, 'Think.' |
"First is Lavender, its good for anxiety and sleep though it can cause nausea if you dont know the proper dosage." he put the sprig down and grabbed a white flower, the roots seemed to have been cured. "Valerian root, its luckily common enough. You want the root, it helps insomnia, emotional balance and panic." if he knew the ingredients he could make them himself. The last he brought forward a small green leaf. "This is a marijuana plant, its a drug some people use to... get out of their head persay. A small dose helps depression and is a muscle relaxer." it wasnt enough for the proper effects of the plant. Fenix watched Beau hoping he had lapped up the tincture.

Beauregard focused on the medicine that Fenix pushed toward him. He made a face, but the young male moved his maw toward the tincture. He had never been a big fan of herbs, especially with how bitter they were, but the honey and lavender did help, even if a little. He chewed on them thoughtfully, breathing in the scent of the lavender in front of him. Fenix reassured him that what was going on wasn’t the same as Tan and the others, but something called a panic attack. His blue gaze fixed on the male, ears flicked back, as he told him that his body was tricking itself into believing he was in danger. Was that what it was? It was severe, according to Fenix, at least based on his symptoms. Beau gave a small nod, continuing to chew the mixture he was offered. Once he finished it, he listened to Fenix go over the herbs he used. They both didn’t sound too bad, so long as they knew the right dosages to give him. The last ingredient he brought forth was curious, and Beauregard tilted his head to the side. “Get out of their head? What do you mean? Is… is that effect only something when you take more of it?” He frowned, still a bit on edge. “I just want to feel calm again, like I can focus and do things.” He cast a glance at Mika guiltily. “I’m supposed to be helping them… not falling apart…” He drew in a shuddering breath. He didn’t like this. "Talk, 'Think.' |
