Proserpina had ignored his summons, had been avoiding him in fact for quite some time. He had not pressed the matter overly much as it was taking some doin to get the former pack used to living in tents and setting up a new fortification every couple months. But his patience was at an end. He had moved the band down here to where he had grown up, where his father had ruled the Abraxas pack and had basically raised Proserpina, in the hopes of reminding her at least a little of the beliefs she was betraying. Now here, as they settled in, he once more raised his muzzle to call out for her, demanding her presence, and this time calling as well for the young wolf that she had not properly cared for. He would inspect the youth for any change in condition now that some time had passed, and decide from there what he would do going forward.

Proserpina

Eli was summoning her. Her ears laid flat and her eyes narrowed, though truthfully, she had no reason to be angry with him. She had withdrawn into herself. With the disappearance of one of her children, and with Ono having ignored her the last time she tried to call them together, she hadn't known what to do and instead, had focused on her own religious studies, trying to figure out the connections between her and the Fallen God and why he had cursed her so. They had moved this time to the place where the Abraxas reign had begun. And with Eli's call for her, came a summons for her daughter, Ono. She didn't know if Ono would show up or not...she had hardly seen the child herself and her attempts at finding her had been fruitless. She didn't know where the child had gone. Would Eli care or understand that she had been looking? Not only that, but March had disappeared recently, too. So now that two of her children were missing, she was beside herself and was trying to search high and low for them while also trying to make sure Morax didn't slip, too. It was all weighing too much on her. Was it another test by their God? She didn't know. But if it was, she was trying her best to persevere...trying her best not to reject him, as he seemed to continue to throw nothing but soul-shattering trials her way.

She got up and headed towards Eli's call, hopeful that Ono was already there. But when she arrived, it was just him. No sight of her missing child. Her ears lay flat and her demeanor dropped, looking like a defeated and dejected pup. What did she do to continue to earn the Fallen Gods ire?

So maybe Onoskelis had taken the very clear indications that her uncle might not want her around a little too literally. She remained close by as much as she could, occasionally she'd made an effort to offer help in her own way. She'd taken to ranging farther from the band to hunt, returning mostly every few nights to drop off some of her own prizes before heading out again, and maybe she'd forgotten to tell her mother what she was doing... In truth, she didn't really know what else to do, she felt some anxiety at the thought of her uncle, and wasn't sure if it was her job or her mother's to finally settle whatever their whole deal was and instead of facing the issue head on she'd taken something of a passive role but she also had to admit that she also didn't like it, it felt useless, she felt useless.

Still, she didn't know what else to do so it's what she did. When her uncle's call went up Onoskelis had just finished a catch, and she felt a bubble of anxiety building in her stomach. She swallowed hard and started the trek back to where her family was. The rabbit she'd caught dangling from her jaws as she finally drew close enough to see both adults, no wonder her mother had gotten there first, she'd been some ways away when the call had gone up. There was a wariness in her stance, ears pulling back slightly and her head and tail dropping, though she still stepped forward slightly to drop her catch between her uncle and herself, stepping back to settle uneasily onto her haunches.
