Natural talent

Zeph had watched the competition for the lead fighter rank and to the new wolf's credit, he had performed well! Although Mercury had not come away victorious, he had received a new rank all the same. One that held him responsible for protecting the Carpathius family (of which Zeph had officially been adopted into!) as well as training other new warriors. Zeph - while not quite interested in becoming a warrior in rank - figured he should seek the man out too, to get training of his own. Especially since he had such a natural talent for swordplay (unless his dad had let him win).

Wolves when they wanted to call others always howled, but Zephyr wasn't exactly equipped that way. Instead, he simply was forced to fly around the territory in search of Mercury. Finding the man in the plains, he lighted down beside him and gave the wolf a grin. "I'm here for my lesson!" He declared.
