As excited and proud as he was, he wasn't the first one to suggest that they share the news with their families. His focus was so entirely wrapped up in Ikigai that the outside world around them had failed to keep his attention. When Ikigai mentioned that they should tell his sister he realized that she was of course correct given the fact that at the very least Manea would need to prepare for having more mouths to feed. He still hadn't really spoken to his sister since the day that she had put pressure on him and had pushed him to the point of lashing out at Ikigai for his own short comings, but that memory was a thing of the past now. His mate had given him so much to look forward to that anything that had happened before this moment paled in comparison.

He walked with Ikigai toward his sister's family's den, keeping close to her side and occasionally sharing a little smile with her as his side brushed hers. The transformation their relationship had taken through the turmoil he had caused and the time it took him to heal was astounding and something he was proud to show to Manea. He knew he had slipped and even though Ikigai had forgiven him he wasn't sure his sister and brother in law had. He hoped that perhaps seeing them like this would sway her. As they approached the cave, he spotted Manea walking out of it and he gave a short bark to get her attention, drawing her aqua blue gaze to them. He offered Manea a nod, glancing to Ikigai as he said, "Sister. We have some news to share."

"Deimos Medacium"

Iki followed along beside Deimos as they made their way to Manea. The pale fae had waited until she was completely sure to tell her mate about her pregnancy, now together they would inform their alpha, his sister and her friend. A bit of excitement bubbled up within Ikigai as the pair moved through the mountain towards Manea and Alastor's den. With the children in her belly, the alliance between Elysium and Ashen would be solidified. It was exactly what she had wanted.

Arriving at Manea's chambers, Deimos addressed his sister. Ikigai sat tall beside him, her shoulder touching his. She allowed him to speak and could hear the excitement faintly in his tones. This was what his family strove for; finding a mate and producing children. Iki was glad that she could give this to the purple man. Though their relationship hadn't progressed naturally and had been more arranged than anything, they were slowly working their way into a relationship, a partnership. Iki cared for him and she believed that he cared for her in his own way.

Deimos informed Manea that they had news and Iki nodded in agreement. She didn't speak, however, knowing how excited and proud Deimos was that he was finally fulfilling his familial duty. The lithe dame gave her mate a gentle nudge and simply smiled at Manea, knowing that the woman would understand her silence in just a moment.

"Iki"

Manea had just finished cleaning up the den a bit after the pup's lunch, sending Malico and Mariah off into the island to play and explore while she saw to some things around their home. That wouldn't take her long through and soon enough she was heading out again, intending to go check on the pack's food stores to make sure they didn't need to organize a larger hunt as they went into the colder months. However, that plan was at least delayed as she stepped out into the sunlight and was promptly stopped by her brother. She glanced up with surprise to see Deimos walking toward her with Ikigai in tow, the two of them shoulder to shoulder and looking distinctly more happy than the last time she had spoken to them together. She knew the pair had kept fairly to themselves through Deimos' recovery from Alastor's punishment, but she hadn't expected this kind of development from her hardheaded brother. Curious, she turned to face them and gave Ikigai a warm smile before shifting her gaze to Deimos. He mentioned that they had some news and her brows lifted with interest, glancing between the two wolves. "Oh? Do tell," she asked, half expecting Ikigai to elaborate, but when she didn't the attention again shifted back to her older brother. It seemed that Ikigai wanted Deimos to give whatever piece of news the two of them seemed all too excited about so she waited to hear what her brother had to say.

"Manea Mendacium"

Deimos left the floor open for Ikigai to tell Manea their news, but in seemed that his mate intended to have him do the honors. He was proud and excited on his own, probably more excited than he had been about anything else in his life thus far, but knowing that Ikigai was just as happy made it all the more worthwhile. Since Ikigai seemed set on letting him being the one to tell his sister, he finally conceded with a chuckle and a little grin as he glanced down at Ikigai and then back up to Manea as she prompted him to go on. "Ikigai and I are expecting our first litter," he finally said after a moment of anticipation, a wider grin pulling at his lips. He peeked down at Ikigai with pride and affection before leaning his head down to press a kiss to her cheek. She was his pride and joy and he hoped that Manea got to see a glimpse of that in how they looked at one another. He knew all too well that he had a lot to make up for, but he no longer felt the need to prove himself to his sister. He had gotten everything that he had prayed for and more with this beautiful woman at his side and the pups she now carried. He brought his attention back up to Manea, adding, "Ikigai wanted to made sure you were the first to know, though I'm sure we'll need to at least send word to Venom as well–though maybe a visit to see her would be better."
