Like a moth to a flame Rhysand found himself sauntering into the battlefield. Pale green eyes swept across the worn earth. Fighting rings covered the landscape. Some new and some old. He even padded across various pools of dried blood through his venture. The ambiance sent tingles of anticipation slithering down his spine. It'd been nearly half a season since his last spar and it was surely time to began shaving off some of that rust. He was also a touch curious to see that these mutants had to offer. Rhysand settled with a moderately sized sparring circle, taking his place on one end. He began to stretch out his body, sliding his front legs forwards and allowing his rear to hike upwards. A few small pops could be heard from his spine as he straightened back up and shook out. With a small roll of his shoulders the pale beast tossed his head into the air and called forth anyone willing to throw down.

The twins were still stuck in their decision, unable to come to an agreement on where they might choose to live and what community they would from now on call home. Khonsu had successfully argued that a break might be necessary - that they should revisit their most basic skills and ensure that they were keeping up with them while petitioning the land's alphas. The last thing they wanted to happen was to be accepted somewhere and realize that they had misrepresented their skill level.

The battlefield was said to be a place where wolves could have no-strings-attached spars, if one was lucky enough to find an opponent. Together the twins moved through the bloodstained field toward the first call that reached their ears. It was more than likely that this individual had not planned to fight someone as uniquely mutated as they were, but hopefully their odd appearance wasn't so off-putting that they'd be denied the chance to spar.

"Greetings." Khonsu spoke as he arrived, his brother silent at his 'side'. "You are looking for a match? We are very rusty and looking to shake the dust off." He left the initiation open to the stranger, allowing him the chance to reject their participation if he so chose.

What responded to his call was not at all what he expected. A Wolf with two heads made it's way to him. Painted in black and various shades of purple. Pale green eyes squinted as he took in it's massive form, Rhys could not believe what he was seeing. So far many of the locals seemed to be littered with various abnormalities. Horns, fangs, and long fur. But, this was beyond what he could have imagined. And now he was going to have to... fight it? Rhysand did not try to soften his judgmental gaze. Words left the left heads jaws with pleasant enough tones. Thus, he responded with his own vocals but they were sharp and to the point. "This should be interesting." The pale male settled into a fighting stance. "The names Rhysand, by the way." It wasn't like him to forget to introduce himself but his mind was clouded by the fantastical beast before him. The fight began as Rhysand pushed off into a sprint towards the mutant. Light paws fell upon the earth with haste, pads flexing with each press. Rhys knew it would be a mistake to begin the fight face to face(s?), his opponent had two sets of teeth while he only had one. With this disadvantage had been laid out before him Rhys decided he'd try to maneuver towards the right side of the inseparable duo. As the distance between the fighters closed Rhys suddenly turned towards the right of his opponent while keeping his body and head low in hopes of avoiding snapping jaws.
