Maki wasn't into wrestling as much as some of her other siblings seemed to be but...from the outside looking in it did sort of look fun, didn't it? Unagi made it look effortless, like she just knew what to do, but Maki even when she played pretend and practised on her own she just sort of...flailed.  Tripped over her own paws and just sort of tired herself out, the furthest thing from elegance one could possibly imagine. But she knew Dad was a strong and mighty warrior, big and tall and...maybe it was something fun they could do together? Mums too?

Maki stodd a little straighter, the soft blades of grass tickling her legs as she bowed down and lunged forward. Pouncing and grabbing at nothing, clutching it between her teeth and shaking her head violently as though flopping it about in a show of victory.

Since they are now free to roam close to the dens, Unagi has spent as much time as she can outside. While the sun does tend to make her pink eye sore, she cannot pass up the chance to frolic through the tall grass… which is in the process of doing. The soft blades tickle her fat belly as she bounds boldly through the area, snapping at passing insects in an effort to try and catch them. Leaping up, she fails to catch a passing dragonfly and, instead, flops over onto her back. Huffing, she rolls to her belly and pushes herself back up onto all fours.

With a mighty shake, she rids her pelt of any dirt that has tried to hitch a ride. Bored with trying to catch insects, she scents the air to try and find another prey to take on. Unagi finds her sister, Maki’s, scent upwind from her and the pup grins to herself as she crouches low and begins to stalk toward her target. Staying silent, she approaches where her sister is and comes to a halt. Maki seems to be trying to practice something and the pup in the grass settles in to watch. From what she sees it seems like Maki is attempting to fight… the air.

Brows lift as she simultaneously stands and calls out, “You’re doin’ it wrong.” There is no judgement in her voice as she trots up to where Maki is and comes to stand near her. Casting her gaze toward her sister, Unagi says, “Here. Try it like this.” She spreads her front paws out until they are underneath her shoulders and easily bends her knees until she is crouching. Head tilts as she waits to see if Maki tries the stance out.

Maki turned, uttering a soft if not confused uh? She was doing it wrong? Well..probably, maybe. Unagi didn't say it meanly and was quick to show how it was done, so she had to be telling the truth, right? Trying to mimic her sister's stance, she spread her legs waaaay too wide, like bambi on ice before-well not really pouncing but falling onto Unagi instead. But it was a lot of fun though, spending time with her sister in a wider open space and not being kicked in the face, that was always a good thing. She let out a tittering giggle, deciding that if they were gonna wrassle then she wanted to fight for the right too....stick her tongue in her sisters' ear!

Unagi had only been trying to help her sibling find a proper stance and, instead, has been completely and utterly betrayed. Oh the humanity! Maki pounces on her and the girl squeaks in surprise, as they both topple to the ground, her wide eyes quickly narrow as she growls viciously and flails her paws about. It might have sounded like a real fight if it wasn’t for the giggles that punctuate the air every time the girl rocks sideways on her back. Paws swing wildly as she bats at Maki, jaws open wide as sounds that she didn’t know she could make, fill the air. There is small pause and the siblings look at each other, a smile curling Unagi’s lips before she begins to flail all over again.

"Hattori-Klein Unagi"

Maki couldn't help herself and soon the pair devolved into a rolly-polly sushi pile. As far as fights went it was...pretty mediocre, but what was to be expected from two young beans? It was closer to a bap fest, paws slapping and wapping the other, tails wagging as Maki got donked on the nose. Halting her ear licking tangent...for now. Instead, she started to mouth at her sister, letting out a garbled open-mouthed growl as she aimed to-and this sounded like a good idea in her head- put Unagi muzzle in her mouth. Cause that way she couldn't bite her, right? But what about them paws? Unagi sure used them good, wapped like a pro!

The two pups fight like… well pups. Paws slap and smack, growls fill the air and the two, rather round, girls roll. Unagi feels Maki’s tongue lick near her ear and the girl quickly flattens both of them against her skull, not wishing to get a big, wet tongue stuck into one. Suddenly, Maki is shifting tactics and begins to mouth her.

Her sister is opening up wide and suddenly reaching toward her face. Mismatched eyes widen as the girl realizes what her sister is attempting to do. Swiftly, Unagi attempts to counter, aiming a paw to slap up at the underside of Maki’s jaw. Her hope is that it will force her sister to close her mouth and then she can stuff her Maki’s nose into her own mouth.

Body wiggles with excitement as the battle comes down to who can get ahold of the other one’s muzzle.

With a whap of her paw on Maki's chin, her mouth clicked shut, giving Unagi the perfect opening to nom on her muzzle. Even though she lost, Maki didn't mind at all, it was all fun and games with her sister and she trusted her wholly. After all, why would family hurt each other? Grinning, she barely managed to slip her tongue out from the side of her muzzle and did her best to blow raspberries from within Usagi's mouth trap. She had been foiled, bested by trickery, but all was not lost! Not when Maki was having so much fun!
