The thunder rolls

The horned wolf snarled, tail risen, ears flattened as he let the bear know it was in a load of trouble for…existing. Kotori had found it and that was the reason it would die today. The bear roared in an attempt to also look threatening but Kotori only grinned in response, angering it all the more.
A deep roll of rumble resonated in the sky, and the trees' leaves danced with an incoming wave of wind seemingly signaling the start of the fight. The wolf ran towards the bear as it charged him. Kotori spun to the right, missing the bear’s ram and sinking his teeth into a front leg before letting go. The bear was turning to try and reach him and Kotori danced around behind it to keep out of the way. Once more he got in a bite on the other back leg. Each bite was fast in the attack and release.

Sorcerer has been roaming, trying to remember his life and who he is. His paws carry him to places his mind cannot remember as he searches for clues in every place he goes. A storm is building, sending wind to cause the long branches of the willows to dance around his black and white form. Thunder rumbles as the dark clouds above threaten to unleash the rain that boils in their belly. The wind shifts, bring new scents to his nose and Sore stops in his tracks.
While the coming storm dampens many scents, it is difficult to miss the heavy musk of a grizzly bear. That, along with the scent of a familiar wolf, has the man turning to run so he may aid whomever might be in trouble. His paws are light as he races across the land of willows, his steps making no sound as thunder rolls around him. Sorcerer arrives on the scene, coming up behind the large ursine and wolf. An earthen male has the bear’s attention and, without stopping, he boldly enters the fray.
Lithe form darts forward, coming up behind the grizzly until he is behind its right back leg. Teeth strike out, clamping down on the fur and fat that surrounds the ankle joint of the creature. With a snarl, he twists his head, popping the joint with ease. The grizzly roars as lightening rents the air and rain begins to fall in a heavy sheet. Thunder booms as loud as cannons as he dances away from a paw that seeks his head, his body seemingly knowing what to do without him having to tell it. Violet eyes flick to the stranger as he offers a smirk while readying to attack again.

A stranger appeared and decided to join the fray. Thunder roars and sheets of rain limit the line of sight and dampen the smells about them. The fight was already in full swing and no need to worry about seeing long distance or following a scent anyway.
The bear’s body jerked from pain and Kotori took that moment to slam his horns into the front shoulder, then jerked his head to leave two deep slashes behind. Kotori was about to bite the injury but the bear was coming about to get revenge. Kotori snarled as he leaped away, taking an almost petty nip at the tiny bear's tail as he got far enough away to avoid the bear’s retaliation paw swipe.
The grass was growing slick and mud was becoming more prevalent if one didn’t watch their step. This really was a fun fight, keeping a wolf on his toes.

The rain falls in heavy sheets, obscuring Sorcerer’s view while also soaking the man’s fur. Ears slick back, pinning against his head in an effort to keep the water from reaching his ear canals. Lightning rents the darkness, streaking the sky with such a brilliant light that momentarily blinds the monochrome man. The thunder that chases it cracks loudly, reverberating in the man’s chest and causing his heart to flutter with excitement as he squints to watch the bear through the rain. It spins around and the other wolf must have caused it pain because it roars again.
Lightning spears the darkness, causing black dots to dance in Sorcerer’s vision as the thunder follows quickly behind. It drowns out the roar of the bear and his snarl as he lunges back in, aiming for the same leg he had already attacked as he goes for the knee. Its back-right paw is useless but it can still bear weight on that leg, so it is time to change that. Teeth pierce flesh, sinking deep into the meat below and the man is quick to toss his head vicously to the side. Tendons are torn as he rips away the fur, fat, and muscles and the grizzly’s back leg suddenly gives out.
Rain pounds the monochrome man’s form as he dances back, avoiding the swipe and teeth that follow the man’s attack. Visibility is low and, as his violet eyes flick over to try and find the other wolf, Sorcerer finds he can only make out the vague shape of the stranger. Lightning flashes and the thunder booms as the men fight the doomed the bear.

The mud was assuredly slick under the wolf's feet, and it was even more treacherous for the mighty weight of a bear with injured legs throwing it off balance. The bear was attempting to pivot again, to make yet another attempt to attack Kotori’s ally in this fight. However, his back paw slid, leaving a streak of mud and sending the bear swaying as it tried to find purchase.
The bear’s body stretched, muscles stiffening as it attempted to regain balance and Kotori saw a great chance. The wolf lunged in, crunching his shoulders and head down low. His head jerks up, slamming his horns into the underside of the bear’s jaws, damaging the tender jawbone. The bear yowled, shaking its head causing itself to stumble more, its rear end failing, sloping down to the ground in a way that made it seem the bear just had decided to sit for a while.
The lightning danced across the sky and the blood on the bear made it obvious he was not simply resting. It was losing a deadly battle.
