Parents never had favorites. At least, they would never admit to having favorites. But if Cel had to pick, Aji would be up there on her list. Though the girl was nearly as grumpy as her brother, Hotate, she was still happy to oblige Delphi’s chaotic whims and listened better than either of the other two. Cel figured it about time for her to have some one on one time with the chocolate-coated girl.

Approaching the edge of the lake with Aji in tow, she glanced at the girl. “I’m sure Delphi has drug you out here already, but I figured I would spend the day with you by yourself so you could really explore,” she says in soft vocals as she takes a seat in the grass. “Show me anything you find interesting,” Cel adds as she lifts a paw to wave the pup toward the tall reeds.
