The day to leave is approaching quickly and butterflies have become permanent residents in the girl’s stomach. Summer has warmed the air and the normally frigid cove is pleasantly warm. Andy seizes the opportunity to take her mind off her nerves and she works to finish clearing out on of the training rings on the black lava sand. Once it is to her liking, the purple girl lifts her head and issues a call to anyone who wishes to improve their fighting skills.

Once that is done, Andy sits in the sand with a small, leather bag laying inconspicuously next to her. This will be her first attempt at giving a fighting lesson and she hopes that it will be helpful to all those who appear. The idea had actually stemmed from her sister Kite’s disability and she wonders if her sister will appear. As wolves filter in, she offers them a dip of her head and soft, but warm, greeting. For once, the butterflies are quiet as she finds herself excited at the prospect of teaching.

Pyrite hadn’t been able to leave Bronze quite yet, Sirius had been so kind to allow her entry to the pack that she believed it deserved a good try on her part. She was very much secretive and independent as a loner like her would be. Being social, friendly, and bright just were not her specialties. The young woman knew that pack life was different though, and she needed to pull her weight, even when she thought that taking care of herself was plenty. Pyrite never asked anything from anyone, but the added protection of the pack was enough she needed to pay back.

Curiously the silent beauty made her way to the beach side, eyeing their teacher with her sharp golden gaze. Pyrite never meant to be mean to anyone, but the northern wolf has always carried a cold air about her. The arctic lands infiltrated her mind, body, and soul.

Kite knew Andy was excited at the prospect of teaching a lesson, and had volunteered to go along and see what her sister knew. In part it was to support her lovely sister, and in part it really was to improve herself. Kite knew that she had a lot to prove.

The beach wasn’t her favourite place either, but she had Lioness in front of her. She trusted her seeing-eyed cat completely, even if her steps did get a little cautious as she felt the ground beneath her shift to sand. She walked carefully, and stopped when Lioness stopped. She sniffed the air, and scent her sister - and someone else?

She moved her nose about, trying to pinpoint where the other wolf was - there. An Armada wolf, definitely but she wasn’t sure it was someone she had met before. “Hello, I’m Kite” She murmured quietly. (In what she hoped was their direction)

Andy was giving lessons now, and Dread wasn't quite sure how he felt about that one. On the one hand, he was happy for her. On the other hand, he'd have to admit that she knew more than him, and he wasn't sure that sat well with him. He had to be the best, and he'd been... bested? That couldn't be right (it could.) (It was.) As she called out across the Armada that she was holding a lesson... well, he had to do it. Dread had to show up. It was in good faith, too, wanting to get better. Wanting to show up and put the work in, especially as he'd probably been slacking.

Kite and Pyrite were already there by the time he arrived. Dread ducked his head as he looked to Andromeda, offering an apology. "Sorry I'm late." A bit sheepish, he'd probably held things up. Well, he was here now. He stopped beside Kyanite, sitting on his haunches. Waiting. Watching. What did Andy have planned for them today?

As Andy settles on the sand keen pale blue eyes watch for the arrival of wolves. The first to arrive is a woman that the lavender wolf does not know and the girl offers her a friendly smile and dip of her head in way of greeting. The woman remains silent and the girl takes no offense, knowing that they are a newer addition to the pack and likely still feeling the Armada out. Next to appear is her sister, Kite, and the girl’s tail lightly thumps the sand as Lioness, her sibling’s feline companion, guides her forward. While her sibling mummers her name to the stranger, Andy’s attention is drawn up to the arrive of her brother, Dread.

Gratitude swells in her chest for her siblings’ appearances, feeling their support bolster her confidence at her first attempt at giving a lesson. As Dread voices an apology, the girl lifts a paw to shake it away, a warm smile on her lips as she says, “You are not late, Dread. We haven’t even started.” As he settles in next to Kite, the girl takes a deep breath, looking over the gathered wolves before beginning, “Thank you all for coming.” Looking to the stranger, the girl bows her head in greeting and says, “I am Andromeda Fatalis. But please, call me Andy. Everyone does.”

A warm smile is given as she lifts a paw and introduces the other two, “And these are my siblings, Kyanite and Dread.” With that done, Andy sweeps her gaze over the gathered wolves once more, an excited smile on her lips even though her sister cannot see it. Producing the leather satchel, she says, “My sister actually sparked this idea. Today, we are going to learn how fight… blind.” Carefully, she reaches into the depths of the bag and produces two, black strips of leather as she talks, “We have more senses than just our sight and it is important to know how to use them.”

She lifts up the strips of cloth, offering them to Pyrite and Dread as she continues on, “Thankfully, Kite has come prepared for this lesson. Both of you, please take one a blindfold and I will help you to secure it.” As the pieces of cloth are taken and tied in place, Andy carefully checks that no one can see out. Once she is satisfied, the girl says, “Okay, now that you are all on a level playing field, we are going to begin. Lioness, no helping Kite.” She raises a paw to the cat, offering a wink and waggle of her toes before turning her attention back to the wolves, “Now, I want you all to tell me exactly where I am. Work together!”

Quietly, the girl shifts in the sand, moving until she is standing several paces away from the group. Her intention is to get them to use their senses to pinpoint her location before the lesson continues on.
