The young Queen walked, and walked and walked. So far she was quite disappointed with this land she had found herself in. The strong scent of packs was everywhere, but so far she yet to meet anyone exciting. What a terrible idea it had been to leave her throne and come to this dreadful place. A low growl rumbled in her throat. Emerald jewels settled on the falling water that was set before her.

The sound of it had drawn her to this place, captivated her attention. But now she was unimpressed by its beauty. Russet haunches rested against the frozen earth, thick plume resting caring around her paws. The weather was growing colder by the day. Winter would be around soon that much she was certain of. But whether or not she would be around to see it was different story.

Disappointment pulled her features down, creamy lips following suite. She was growing tired of isolation. Why hadn't wolves flocked to her? Didn't they know? Delicate paws pushed her powerful frame up towards the heavens and the babe began to pace. She could return home, where she would happily be the center of attention once more. Or she could linger a little longer, give this place a second chance.

Nostrils quivered, taking in the scent of the falling water and crisp leaves. Audits flicked idly, listening to only the sound of the water crashing down against the rocks. Paws would caring to the edge of the pool, crown dipping down for a drink of crisp liquid. It was like liquid ice sliding down her throat, burning her tongue. It was good. Refreshed, the Queen would turn away, prepared to renew her quest and give this place a second chance. To decide whether it would be worthy of her presence.

Things were going well for the new Re, even if he was separated from the only blood family he had in this new land. It wasn't such a big deal because he was making a new family for himself, even though it wasn't blood family it was still family. He didn't miss Glaciem; he missed his aunt Sendoa and Argent, but not the Ice King who sired him. He was better off without the bastard. Though now fatherless, he still had his mother; adopted and birth. Erani, the kind healer and warrior from Valhalla who was also mother to Chrysanthe, the queen. She taken the cobalt King in as her adopted son, despite the fact that he had come from one of the most hated packs in Alacritis. He was grateful to have his adopted mother, but she could never replace his birth mother. How he missed her sometimes...The titan found himself on more than one occasion wishing to drop everything here and go back to his former home and settle back in with his mother, but he was here now and he was making a name for himself. It would be sad to throw away everything that he was working for.

The flow of rogues had stemmed for the moment, allowing the Re to take some time for himself to relax and unwind. Although he liked being busy and the hub bub of the alpha life, there were a few times that he needed his time to himself. Powerful limbs pulled the titan across the unfamiliar territory, toes brushing against the water splashed rocks, ears pricked forward, icy gaze coming across a figure that sent his heart into the pit of his stomach, an uncharacteristic whine slipping from his ebony lips. A russet figure was turning away from the pool that he was approaching. It was female by her scent, but a rogue. He knew he had never seen her before, so why did she smell like his mother? A step was taken towards the russet girl, uncertainty causing the titan to pause in his tracks, confused icy gaze on her figure, hoping she would turn around.

A whine pierced sentive canals causing the Queen to swivel on delicate paws turning to face the intruder. emerald gems landed on a dark mammoth of a man. A brown lifted with disdained curiosity. Who was this? And why did he look so pitiful? "Such a man should no look or sound quite so pitiful." The Queen commented dryly.

Russet plume swayed idly between her hocks, taking in the sight of the handsome figure before her. His coat was made up of all darkened ashes, but appeared to be tinted in blues. His eyes settled into his masculine face, as blue as the ocean waters. "Why such a sad face my dear?" Graceful steps propelled her forward, weaving a path closer to the stranger. Hips swayed this way and that way, pools of verdant watching his every move.

While the brute was certainly attractive, she had no intention of spending her time with someone who looked so depressing. He was such a fine specimen yet he walked around whining. Such a waste of a man. A gentle sigh slipped from between creamy kissers as she stopped a few short feet from the stranger, impatiently waiting for him to address her.

Just as he hoped, the young girl would turn around and the king would recoil, skull snapping up and towards his spine, icy eyes widening with surprise. Those same jade eyes that his mother always looked at him so fondly with. The same russet hue, though patterned differently across this girl. Her scent was of one of Armada lineage. She couldn't be...related to him, could she? Such a man should no look or sound quite so pitiful. Her comment would snap the titan from his state of shock, features pulling together in a frown, massive skull raised to the highest position, ebony plume curling over his hips in a clear display of dominance. Him look pitiful? Did she knew who she was talking to? Perhaps you should learn to respect your elders little one. He would respond, though his voice lacked the dryness that hers did, his tone neutral.

Why such a sad face my dear? She spoke like someone who was older and it was a bit unsettling to say the least. She would begin to move closer to him, clearly a bit curious about him, but not nearly as much as he was of her. Did she not smell the resemblance between them? Why do you smell like an Armada little one? She couldn't be related to him...it had to be a complete coincidence that she looked nearly identical to his mother...it had to be...

Perhaps you should learn to respect your elders little one. Soft laughter spilled from cream lips. Emerald gems would watch as his stance turned to one of dominance. She remained unimpressed, looking at him blankly, only mild amusement coloring her features. Armada. Her name rolled off his tongue in an almost accusing way. How did he know her last name? "I don't have the answer as to why, but that name was given to me by my mother, Shaari." Oh her sweet mother, how so dearly she missed the woman. It seemed like forever since she last saw her.

"How do you know my name?" Eyes narrowed briefly, her look taking on one of suspicion. Who was this man really? He stumbled upon her and had the audacity to speak her last name as though he could be so lucky as to know her! No matter how hard she looked at him, nothing was familiar about the mammoth of a man. Nor had her mother ever spoken of such a creature. Immediately her frame tense, muscles coiling beneath her pelt. He had to be trouble.

She would giggle at his mention about having respect, as if he amused her. The Re would drop the dominance act, allowing his frame to relax to a more neutral state, crown lowering to a normal level, plume curling against his hocks. I don't have the answer as to why, but that name was given to me by my mother, Shaari. Shaari. That his mother. How could she be the mother of this little girl? It didn't make sense...but then it did. There was no mistaking it. She looked nearly identical to his-their- mother and she bore the surname Armada. There was only one explanation...

How do you know my name? It had been a guess, but clearly his guess was spot on. Because my mother is Shaari. And my father Isardis. I am Taurig Armada and you're my younger sister. The titan wasn't entirely confused but as he said it out loud, it began to sound more convincing. This little girl was his sister. His true blood sister. They were from the same parents. But when did his mother have other children? He was the only one of his litter...Clearly she was younger than him, so perhaps it had been during the time he had left to accompany Isardis. Who would've thought.

Almost immediately his act dropped. He was not better than her, he never would be. Cream legs supported to tense frame, audits swiveling forward as he spoke. Because my mother is Sharri. No. It wasn't possible. Her only siblings where her brother and sister, and they were still back at home. There was no way she had an older brother. You're my younger sister. No. She refused to believe it. He looked nothing like her, how could they be related? It was impossible.

"How do I know you aren't lying?" Gems narrowed, a frown tugging at the corners of her mouth. How many children did her mother have? Her so called brother opened her eyes to an entirely new world. Isardis. The name meant little to her, it a foreign. Perhaps that was ghost her mother had spoken quietly about to the other women of the pack? Haunches plopped to the earth, tail twitching with mild agitation. She had an whole other side of family that she knew nothing about, and her mother had never told her. Not even when she decided to leave. A pang of sadness touched her heart before she squished it.

How do I know you're not lying? She would allow herself to sit against the ground, her russet tail twitching with agitation. A sigh slipped past the titan's lips as he mimicked her movement, haunches folding beneath him as he allowed himself to sit before her, tattered ears perked with attention. He had no reason to be lying to her. He didn't even know her. He would gain nothing from lying to her and it just wasn't in his personality. He wasn't the type of man to lie to a someone who was a stranger, but then again wasn't. She had to believe him. There was no other explanation for the circumstance he was in now.

Why would I lie to you? I would gain nothing from lying to you. You have to believe me. How else would I know our mother's name if she weren't my own? We might not look the same, but we are of the same blood. Our pelts are just different colors. Please believe me little one... She had to be his sister. She had to be. He wasn't sure he would be able to completely understand if he had made a mistake. She was the first connection he had to his mother in a good while and he didn't want to loose her before he had even gotten a chance to get to know her.

Please believe me little one. A small smile tugged at her lips at the nickname she had already been given. The man had taken a seat, his words pleaded with her. The young Queen rose, limbs pushing her up and forward. Steps carried her effortlessly towards her proclaimed brother, she didn't hesitate, her movements fluid until she was inches from him. Leaning forward, the russet girl buried her nose in his pelt, nostrils quivering. He smelled strongly of this land, but there was still something familiar about him. Something that reminded her of home.

"Taurig." She spoke his name as if testing it, slowly becoming convinced. "My name is Sibelle." She finally introduced herself to her long lost brother, a smile breaking across her face. Taking a few steps back, her tail wagged gently as she took a seat again. "You must know where our father is then!" Excitment tinged her tones, her arrogance slowly slipping away.

He could see the smile curling her lips at the nickname he had quickly given her. At least she seemed to respond to him well and didn't outright hate him for claiming to be of blood. He would stand quietly, icy gaze intent on her figure, hoping that she would realize that what he was saying was true. She would stand, and for a split second he thought she was going to leave, but she would dissuade that notion as she began moving towards him. Her movements were fluid and there was no hesitation as she closed the gap between them, allowing her muzzle to press into his neck. The titan would tense for a moment at the unexpected contact but quickly relax, feeling his nostrils quivering against his dark skin. Was she trying to confirm that they were in fact related?

His name would fall effortlessly from her lips and finally, she would give him her name. My name is Sibelle. Sibelle. Sib. It was a beautiful name, fitting for his baby sister. She would take a step back to make room between them again, tail wagging behind her as she smiled. Taurig could feel his own smile starting to form, but just as quickly as it appeared it disappeared in the next moment at her words. You must know where our father is then! Isardis. A hint of a snarl would touch his muzzle, lips crinkling ever so slightly. You don't want to know our father. He's the one that gave me these. He would tilt his head down to that she would see the scars that marred his muzzle and nose, tilting his to the left to show his torn up ear. He couldn't let her go with Isardis. Who knew what he would do with her.

She felt his frame tense at her sudden contact but just as quickly he relaxed. A smile started to grace his features but the moment she mentioned their father, a snarl made his lips twitch. Confusion fluttered over her. Had something happened to him? Ears flipped back loosely as she awaited an explanation. Her brothers dark crown lowered, his ears coming into red view. Eyes widened in shock. Their father had done this? Why would her mother ever be with someone so cruel?!

A low whine slipped from creamy jaws. "He wasn't like that to mom was he?" Immediate outrage lit up her eyes, turning gems into pools of fire. Hackles began to bristle as she demanded an answer from her brother. She would destroy anyone that laid a paw on her mother!
