Sedna pottered about in the clinic area of the the home that had been built by Usagi, Kuroo and Raijin. Otis had scurried around cleaning the woven reed mats that had been placed down to make the place a bit more sanitary and she had taken the furs out to air. With the change of season upon them, a familiar uncomfortable tightness was building up under her fur and she pulled a face. Beru and Wari had already left, Rheum had plans to go exploring too and while she couldn't fault them for that, it would still feel odd to not have the small army of children underfoot, and an unfamiliar tightness was taking root in her chest. Was this how her mother had felt every time her own children had left the home?
She wasn't sure what Tate, Tachi or Fuji would choose to do as the weather turned wet, and the northern continent was set to warm, and she didn't feel brave enough to ask. They would tell her when they made up their minds. She wandered out to add a bit more wood under the kiln. She was sure Fuji had some more canisters in there baking.
“Speech”
She had twisted her ankle on her way back down from Boreas. One misstep on some rocks while she crossed a river. Having to walk all the way back to the bamboo hadn't been very pleasant, but at least it wasn't broken. With a slight hobble to her walk and a permanent grimace on her expression, Tenshi made her way to Sedna's home. While Tenshi had not made herself very well known to many in the pack, she still respected Sedna and considered the woman a friend. Approaching the home, she peaked her head in as she was sure Otis was hissing in her direction. "Is this a bad time?" Her accented voice asks as she hesitates in the doorway. |

It wasn't often that the wolves of Tojo called on Sedna, but the wolves of the Armada hadn't either... (probably had something to do with her horrible bedside manner). When Tenshi questioned if it was a bad time, Sedna turned to her with a look of concern on her face, even from here, it seemed the other wolf was limping. Her brows drew down momentarily in concern, but she managed to reply with a smirk, "Raijin's off on diplomat business, it's unlikely ter be a bad time if 'e's not 'ere ter distract me." There was humour in her tone, for all that she was making fun of her own current predicament, her attachment to her husband was hardly holding her back. "What 'ave yer done to yerself?"
"speech"A chuckle fell from her lips as Sedna responded to her. “When is that man not on diplomat business?” She chided back to Sedna as she continued to walk further into the dwelling. Smiling hesitantly, Tenshi lifted her paw as she took a seat near the other healer. “I twisted my ankle. Having you take a look will be easier than me trying to do it myself,” Tenshi offered as she waited patiently for Sedna to do her work. It was then that she regretted not making more of an effort to be better friends with Sedna. The woman’s humor was indeed quite funny and perhaps they could have shared more time together personally… |
