Spending the afternoon washing some of the bedding had been a massive undertaking. From start to finish, Adelina had gone through buckets upon buckets of water from the hot spring. So many, that she had eventually lost count. And now that she was now running low on the blended fermented herbs she had been using to scrub with, she felt like now was a good time to take a break. Her own fur was saturated to her elbows, and she smelled much like a garden; Lavender, Rosemary, Oregano, Bay leaves, and a little Mint. But at least it was clean. And now that the actual washing was over with, it was time to get all the bedding outside to dry out.

The slave girl had a few different baskets to haul, but she wanted to make sure she got them all outside and within reach before beginning the process of laying out their contents. One at a time, she began shaking out each fur, before gently flatting it against a particular sloping incline of the rock wall that bordered the main clearing. With any luck, it would be able to support the bedding material as they dried without having to touch the ground, and at the moment, the particular spot she chose was in full sun.

At the very least, it was pleasant being outside in the summer sunshine.

Mortis was making his way through the Col when he saw a wolf he hadn't encountered before laying out wet bedding. There were many new faces since he'd been gone, so it wasn't a surprise to find another. He was attempting to fill the gaps in his knowledge. Lately, he was finding that same energy that had been lost to him for so long. Halo reminded him that he wasn't alone, ans it gave him the strength to reach out to others.

He trotted over, wings slightly outstretched to feel the slight breeze. He moved to one of the wet bedding still in need of hanging. But before he touched it he turned a smile onto the stranger. "May I?" He asked before he intruded. "I'm Mort, by the way"
