easy, peasy, not so lemon squeasy

No one ever mentioned how beautiful Boreas was. While she absolutely adored Auster, there was something different about this place. Everything was so peaceful, so green, so alive. Birds soared across the sky through cotton candy clouds. Munching on tall grass were herds of deer that appeared to have not a care in the world. Everything was so wonderful here. Bunches of wildflowers popped up all over the place! Colors on colors of every shade littered the meadow. Sloping hills led to a grove that enticed her. Drawing closer, slow and steady, her interest and curiosity were piqued. Both ears folded forward as her teal eyes watched the surroundings. Rabbits bounced over rocks and dragonflies buzzed back and forth. Something unknown rustled in the grove. Amidst the beauty of the gulley that she wanted to plop down and stare at the sky in, it was the rustling that made her move forward. A rather musky and dirty scent had her nose scrunching in disgust. Some might say she was being stupid for going toward it, but she had to know. What ugly thing could be hiding out in such a pretty place? Each step drew her closer until she was feet away from the grove. A pained groan shifted through the trees as she peered into the shadows. The late afternoon sun began to hide behind an assortment of clouds, making it more difficult to see. The smell was getting worse as a tinge of copper was plopped on top. Was whatever this was okay? Concern laced over her features as she pushed through the brush. Berries squished against her coat, staining the tawny fur blue and purple. Her muscles tensed as she crept forward. Finally, she could make out a shape as it crouched in her direction. Her investigation was stopped short as a large form suddenly came hurdling toward her. Reeling backward, trying to keep purchase and not fall backward, Bramble crashed from the grove. The large form, dirty and bloodied, lands on top of her. Drool dripped from its jowls as snarls peeled from its throat. A startled yelp left her lips as her own cat-like claws went slashing for its face. Unable to stay on her paws, the creature knocks her over and aims to attack her face. She is able to keep off the tiger off for now but only for the fact that it is already injured. "Help!" She manages to screech out as she continues to swipe and kick at the frenzied beast. Bramble Carpathius
