He'd slept in too long. Finan rose on weary paws as he emerged from his den, trying to blink away the sleep that threatened to keep a hold of him. Squinting in the midday sun, he wasn't entirely sure what time it was or how long he'd been sleeping, but he felt like he had slept for weeks and his body was far too heavy and groggy feeling. He had just come back the night before after spending a good amount of time beyond packlands, mostly exploring the lands and seeing if he could find...well...he wasn't sure. Remnants of his past? Something for a purpose? Hell if he knew. The Praetor boy was sure that everything from his past was gone. All he had really was his uncle Cloud, but even he was likely to be gone soon what with his age and all. Slipping out of his den, he made his way towards a pool of water. His tongue felt just as heavy as the rest of him and felt like sandpaper in his mouth. Maybe satiating his thirst first might put him in a better mood... "Talk, 'Think.'

Corbie was just returning from herd duties when she spotted a distinctly rumpled looking Finan lapping up a drink of water. He looked groggy and not entirely there. He'd been gone from pack lands for a while so she was glad to see that he'd returned. She wondered if he had news from beyond the pack's borders. Often so busy with pack life that she didn't take the time to learn of the state of the world outside of it, she knew she was a bit behind in that respect, so anything he could share would be helpful. "Finan?" she called out to the wakening wolf. "You look like you could use some tea to wake up. Maybe I can put the kettle on and we could have a chat?"
