Iorwerth really wasn't settled into his new life just yet, but then of course having only just joined the pack a few days ago it was only to be expected. Having met very few members of the pack, socialising was definitely necessary. Another priority for him though was finding ways to fit in and prove himself to his new leaders, even if he had only met the Queen currently. Still, this lack of truly belonging wasn't about to stop the young man as he heard the summoning howl, deciding this was an opportunity that he ought not to miss.
Making his way through the pack lands, he did eventually catch sight of the small gathering of wolves, a surprising turn out given he was under the beleif the pack was larger than this. There were very clearly only three others stood before the red male that Iorwerth could only assume was the King, if not certainly some other high ranking male. The meeting had indeed started though, and as he continued in his approach, he managed to catch parts of the speech, enough to understand that there was to be a war of sorts.
As the others began to speak up, marking the end of Maverick's words, Iorwerth continued forwards to join them in standing before the King. "Apologies for my delay" He stated, politely dipping his head to the male. Though he of course certainly hadn't been strictly summoned, he had arrived later than the others around him and certainly felt the apology was needed for his small interruption. "My name is Iorwerth, I have only recently joined however if I can be of any assistance I will gladly help."
The red male was finishing the meeting with the first three wolves as Iorwerth joined him. He had hoped to be filled in quickly and then go report back to his fellow packmates to go and help their allies, though of course there was no such luck. Apparently he could still be of use though, remaining within the pack as a potential guard if any of the war came too close to their lands. It was better than nothing he supposed, though it didn't seem like he would definitely be of use. Something was surely better than nothing, though he couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed, the emotion however of course hidden as ever.
"Yes, of course." He responded simply, a dip of his head again, focussing upon the King and not the three leaving wolves whom he had hoped to join. His earlier assumption had been correct, this male certainly was important, the King that he had heard Epiphron speak of. With that in mind, he didn't bother pointing out he had already introduced himself, instead simply repeated his name once more. "I am Iorwerth."
