Something about the future of his next litter of pups was putting him in a good mood that day. Fortunately for him, the weather had held off and the sun shone warmly on his shoulders. Guiding a raft from the isle toward the archipelago, Gil would bank it in the shallow waters on the island where the doves resided the most. Upon his toes touching the sand, he tried his best to stay quiet. His mission for today would be to capture as many doves as possible to obtain their feathers. This time around, he hoped to make Modesty a comfortable bed so that perhaps giving birth wouldn’t be so traumatizing.
