Something had shifted. Something had changed. The cryptborn found herself acutely aware of it, and less than pleased. Henbane could hear the activity up the mountain, she could smell the pack that had moved in. That had declared the Maw theirs. It was enough to turn her world upside down... all the things she'd come to know in the last year ripped from her paws. Would she need to look at moving soon? Would they as a family need to look at it? Hen would need to find dad, would need to find her siblings, they'd all need to talk about it. Or she could... ignore that it was happening? Hen would just push it off in her mind for later. She'd find something to stab with her tusks until she felt better. She'd process this in her own way. The girl moved stiffly, wandering to the east. Grumbling to herself, feeling the dark mood that settled over her. Why was it such bullshit? They'd been in the Crypt first, it was the only home she'd ever known. Now there were wolves moving in up the mountain, and they'd disturbed her peace. They'd taken it from her. Fuckers. It's mid-afternoon as she crosses into the Nook, finding herself distracted near immediately from her sour mood. There's prey here, and crunchy leaves. Crunchy leaves to trounce through, to stomp in. Hey, actually, that makes her feel a bit better. Stomping, crunching, squishing. All of it is a grand time... until it's not. Hen brings her foot down hard on something sharp, something that scrapes open the pad of her paw. "Son of a bitch!" She yelps, holding the limb up with a hiss. She could already smell the blood, could already feel the oozing blood. Fuck that hurt. Ow. Henbane Aeris |

Aia was very much a little fairy. A gypsy. She floated from place to place, drifting on the wind. Her course could change on a whim. This way of living allowed the girl to see such beautiful things. Sights that others may never see due to the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The world moved so quickly... That was why Aia chose to move slowly within it.
Today the tiny purple fae was nestled in the crook of tree roots. She stared up through the foliage where shafts of sunlight shone through the trees. Motes of dust danced through the air, making it look as though it was snowing gold. It took her breath away with its beauty. The moment was perfect... until it wasn't.
Loud cursing brought blue eyes widening, Aia's attention immediately pulled away. Her gaze landed on the form of another wolf. It was larger than she was, but that was no great feat. As the wolf lifted its paw, Aia could see the blood dropping from it. "Oh!" She cried out, leaping to dark paws. "You're hurt! Let me help you!" Aia immediately scanned the area and started gathering supplies, assuming that ther other girl wouldn't deny the offer.

The cryptborn hisses to herself, trying to figure out exactly what she was going to do from here. Grumbling, grumping as she examined the cut. Yeah, that was... that was certainly something. The rock had split the flesh, scraped it open, and she really was bleeding. It would be uncomfortable until it healed. Hell, it would be even more than uncomfortable trying to get back to dad so he could fix it. With a sigh, Hen plunked down on her ass to take a better look.
It's then that someone else draws her attention. Already in the process of licking at the wound, her gaze falls on the girl. Some sort of dryad, popping up from the roots of a tree. She's tiny, far tinier than Hen or any of her siblings. Still, it seemed she was already in the process of gathering things together, flitting about, collecting... healer... things? Hen didn't actually know what she was looking at, but she also wasn't in a position to refuse.
Nah, there was no way the girl before her was... real. She had to be some sort of hallucination. Well, Henbane wasn't going to look a gift hallucination in the mouth, and the stinging in her paw was still enough to keep her attention. "If uh, if it isn't trouble," she offered a sheepish smile. The cryptborn watches curiously as the waif sets about her collecting, curious as to what exactly she's up to.

With a quick look at the wound, Aia knew what she needed. The purple girl plucked some feverfew and some rosemary. Blue eyes looked about and she darted this way and that, eventually returning with a pile of supplies. Dark ears swiveled to catch the words of the firekissed girl and Aia offered a reassuring smile. "I'm Aia. This might hurt a bit at first but it'll be better before you know it."
Aia chewed up the herbs and mixed them with a bit of aloe that she'd miraculously found. Since the girl had already licked some of the blood away, it was easy to apply the hurried concoction. Once the mixture was caked onto the injured pad, Aia gently pressed a clump of moss against it, followed by a leaf to seal the healing goodies in. Lastly, she took a slender vine and wrapped it about the toe to secure things in place, but not too tightly.
She'd been so intent on her work that she hadn't even checked to see if she'd hurt the girl further. Ugh, she was such a bad healer... "Are you okay?" Aia asked tentatively and somewhat shyly.
