Rivin had sent Lark to tell her father that she wished to speak with him. She had decided to rest a short while after the meeting, but in the end she had made her way to one of the islands. Creating a fire had been a chore, but once it was going the yearling sat by it and stared into the flames. She didn’t know what was going on with herself. The blank outs… the… gift that Ignis spoke of. Anger, bitterness, and frustration had bubbled up, boiled over, and cooled. Now there was an emptiness. She’d almost died. Probably would have died if Jack hadn’t dived into the waves to save her life. Would her father care? Did he still care for his children at all? She could feel them breaking apart, and that made her angry too. She could feel her skin crawl, a whisper, and she growled as that voice within tried to speak to her. “Shut. Up.” The fire before her crackled and Rivin sighed. Everything had gone to shit. Was it going to get better?
"Speech,"'Thought.'
Rivin has two companions - a bobcat and a wolverine. Unless otherwise mentioned IC, assume that they are close by.
