”Take her there, take her there! Sephiran could hear his falcon screeching above him, directing him towards the labyrinth of mines he knew Aresenn had gone to investigate earlier. ”He will be so happy, yes yes!” For some reason the bird had taken a liking to him, choosing to follow him around or perch on his back until he provided it with a chore. ”Happy, happy, happy!” But at times, he found it to be quite annoying, especially with the current task at hand. He was ready to play with this toy. A huff left his jaws, followed by a low, ominous rumble that continuously resonated inside of his chest. He was starting to feel fatigued, irritated by the increased resistance from the snow piled up on the ground. Dragging a limp body through the snow alone wasn’t easy. Especially when it was the body of an incapacitated girl, whose flesh was still warm to the touch and begging to be ravaged.
He didn’t wonder if Aresenn would be happy about the gift he had caught for them. He had already made his own deluded assumption that Arsenn would enjoy the contest he was going to present to them, given they had partaken in blood sportage together many times over. He imagined the former pirate would be thrilled, seeing that this time there was a prize unlike any other at the end of this fictitious game he had fabricated for them. The thought brought out a spout of unhinged laughter, which was muffled by the bundle of fur in his maw as he dragged the girl through the snow by her scruff.
”We're here! Here!” He felt the talons of the falcon grip his lower back, having perched itself instead of flying into the entrance of the mines. With one final tug Sephiran thrust the girl inside, watching as her body rolled a foot or so until she hit the base of the track that led into the labyrinth. His head tipped back and he released a summon for his dearest

It had taken some time, but with the remedy Sephiran had offered him, his sickness was finally easing up. Though, the damn cough still lingered at inopportune moments. He thought it would have been in his best interest to rest as long as he could tolerate it. But out of sheer boredom, he couldn’t stop himself from wandering through neighboring territories. Even still, he often found himself returning to the shelter of the mines. Not necessarily because it was by far that inviting … it kept him close to her. Close enough that if he needed to see her or check on her, he could without too much time spent traveling in his fatigued state.
On this particular day, he could still hear the pulse rushing in his ears leftover from his rather irritating encounter with the prey-like girl. While his walk back to the mines did help calm his mind a bit, the intense feelings of annoyance hadn’t fully released the grasp over his consciousness. His head pounded with an exhale of the cough that refused to leave him as he stumbled into the shelter to dig for any of the herbs that might be leftover- at least there was enough for an additional dose. Just as he had gotten the bitter plant matter down his gullet, a familiar voice echoed through the cavern. Craning his neck around, he made his way back toward the entrance. However, when he got to the natural light of the tunnel’s entrance, it was there he came to an immediate stop.
Sephiran- and Sephiran’s new pet- stood posted up at the opening with a limp form lying on the ground before him. Initially, he thought it was prey. But the longer he stood staring, it suddenly became clear to him that it wasn’t a prey animal at all. “What … is that?” Aresenn questioned the Saxe boy. Not shocked, or surprised. Not even disgusted. More curious than anything else.

Just as Sephiran expected him to, Aresenn emerged from the darkness of the mines, licking his lips as if he had just ingested something. Sephiran didn’t notice the behavior, nor did he care to investigate it. He was too thrilled to show Aresenn their toy. As he came into the light his fiery gaze roved towards Sephiran initially, casting him a look of acknowledgment before falling down to the heap of fur at his feet. Sephiran’s lips contorted into a wide, perverse sneer, one that spread ear to ear and revealed the entirety of his fangs.
He let her head roll out of his paw, watching it hit the ground with a thud which brought out another pained cry. Surely Aresenn had questions: where did he find the girl, why was she so lethargic, and how did he drag her here without anyone noticing? Or, perhaps Aresenn didn’t care to know, and was just as ready to indulge in the game as he was. Either way, Sephiran wouldn’t brush over the minor details - they were minor to him anyway. All that mattered was the commencement of the game. “Let her run into the mines, get lost in the labyrinth,” The hair along his pelt was bristling, arousal simmering inside of his chest before it fanned down into his abdomen. "And then we hunt her down.” He suddenly stood up, taking a few steps towards Aresenn. There was a manic spark in his eyes, one that gave insight into the blood-thirsty beast lurking just beneath the surface. “The first one to find her gets to tear her apart.” He turned to look back at her, but didn’t move away from Aresenn. “Though, if I find her first.” She was slowly starting to stir. “I’m going to fuck her before I kill her.” It was meant to ignite a competitive spark inside of Aresenn. “What do you say, Aresenn.” The girl was groaning now, trying to find enough strength to roll onto her belly. He stepped away then, moving to block off the mines' exit to give her only one option; stay and fight, or flee into the mines. “Do you want to play with me?” The rules were set, and the invitation was given.
Now all the pirate boy had to do was indulge.

Sephiran found it a bit surprising that Aresenn was hesitant about the situation. Wasn’t he excited to play this game? He had gone through the trouble of finding her, drugging her, and dragging her through the snow to bring her here. It wasn’t going to be like chasing after a deer or getting attacked by another predator. There was a far grander prize at the end of this hunt, one they didn’t get to indulge in under natural instances. Didn’t he want to fuck her too?
Nonetheless, the Praetor boy obliged, finding his place at Sephiran’s side as the duo waited for the girl to escape her lethargy. He shot him a final glance, one that revealed the thoughts swarming behind those amethyst and emerald eyes. Why are you hesitating? Another groan from the girl brought his attention back to her, and he leaned forward on his heels, ready to engage. She finally found her feet, pulling herself up before stumbling back over. “P-please…” She murmured, bringing a paw up to her head that was pounding. “Don’t do this.” Sephiran’s head lowered to align with his shoulders, his pelt bristling around his nape and shoulders. “Flee into the mines,” She pulled herself up again, this time staying upright but swaying. “You will find remedies for your illness... we will guard the entrance for you.” The only reason Sephiran presented a lie was because it would heighten her fear when they did hunt her down… which would make it more fun for him.
The girl swayed for several moments, weighing her options. There was no way she could barge past them, which left her only one choice; flee into the mines. “T-thank you,” She murmured, unsure if the purple male was being truthful or not. But all she could do in this moment was hope he was being genuine. Turning on her heels, she stumbled along the tracks, using them to guide her deeper into the labyrinth. After a while, Sephiran tapped the ground a few times, emitting an echo into the cavern. An indication that the game has begun. He glanced at Aresenn a final time- don’t disappoint me - and signaled for his falcon to remain at the entrance to monitor for any newcomers. He then moved away from the mouth of the mines, vanishing out of sight and descending into the darkness.

Descending into the depths of the labyrinth, Sephiran decided to take the path to his left which separated him from Aresenn for now. He couldn’t rely on his sense of smell, given the caverns had a thick scent of moist rock, dirt, and coal. Instead, he used his sight and hearing to help guide him, walking slowly along the cavern wall and listening for any indication that he was heading in the right direction. Several minutes ago, he heard Arsenn’s growl off in the distance. But now it was almost silent in the cavern, aside from the sounds his body was making. The rushing of blood in his ears, the pounding of his heart. This hunt was exhilarating.
After what felt like nearly an hour, Sephiran finally heard the echo of his prey. Somewhere deeper in the mines, he could hear her panting as soft, feminine groans escaped her lips. She was likely experiencing pain, nausea, and fatigue, which weakened her to an extent but Sephiran didn’t care. Whether his quarry was able-bodied or ill and dying made no difference to him. All he cared about was the thrill of it all.
He hastened his pace, clacking his jaws together in unison with her groans before a spew of maniacal laughter resonated from inside of him. It echoed down the cavern, in which he heard her gasp and start running. “Little girl, little girl!” He crooned, almost sing-song-like. “Run, run, run as fast as you can!” Another round of laughter came from him, and it was followed by a yipping sound that was similar to a howl. It was loud and drawn out, and meant to serve as a call to Aresenn.
I’m going to win.
Sephiran loped down the path until it merged into a clearing in the mines, where other tunnels also connected to this common ground. Just as he stepped into it, the girl came into view but so did something else - Aresenn. The former pirate also emerged into the cavern at the same time, but on the opposite side. Sephiran ’s head lowered, ears pinning back as his pelt bristled. A guttural snarl rippled from his throat, and he suddenly lept forward, sinking his fangs into the girl's right hind leg before backpedaling to drag her towards him. She screamed, trying to whip around and face him but given his momentum her legs buckled and she hit the ground, hard.
Hopefully, Aresenn would partake in a little game of tug-o-war.

The blood pooling in his jaws, the sinew in his teeth, the crunching of bone from the power of his jaws. It was exhilarating. Through the flesh in his mouth, Sephiran burst into maniacal laughter, which heightened in pitch when her body shifted from Aresenn’s assault. He had grabbed her somewhere, which sparked the innate impulse to pull her away from him. A snarl bubbled from his throat, knees bending and paws shifting to assume a more defensive posture. He pulled back again, which he assumed Aresenn would retaliate by doing the same.
Sephiran wouldn’t stop until there was a declared victor… or, in this case, until there was nothing left to fight over.
