there was a chill bite to the air, bypassing the thickened fur of Dulla’s pelt to sink its frost-bitten teeth directly into her bones. by the time she made it to the shoreline, a slash of silver had chased the last remnants of night from the sky, and the day dawned dull and grey. the water was accordingly ugly, a stretch of gunmetal against a clouded backdrop; the only comfort was its calmness, each wave lapping sluggishly against the sand as though sedated. Dulla came to a halt directly before the water and outstretched a paw, letting it glide along the surface. icy. shuddering, she took a minute step back and hastily shook her paw dry, casting the water a disparaging look. hell of a day she’d picked for this, that was for sure; no wonder Kas hadn’t wanted to come. gritting her teeth, she wades in up to her flanks, scrunching her eyes shut to collect herself. everything was so goddamn cold. stupid, useless weather. peeling her eyes open, she begins to nose about the water, eyes fixated on every little flash or glimmer. to the casual onlooker she’s a rather damp, shivering woman in the shallows of an ugly beach, head intermittently whipping back and forth. to herself, she’s a girl on a mission.
where are you, you slippery buggers.

It was unusual for Rhazien to leave his brood of Saxe yearlings for longer than a few hours… but given how much territory they needed to cover, some days he found it easier for them to split up. They were all in pursuit of one wolf in particular, along with getting to know this new continent. Splitting up increased their chances of finding him, and it also gave the kids more independence… which was something he knew they wanted.
This is why Rhazien lingered off alone into the neighboring territory, where the grassy plains tapered off into an ocean side filled with cypress trees. This beach wasn’t the picture-perfect scenery he was expecting- the sky was consumed with rain clouds rumbling in the distance, and the water was murky. A thin mist shrouded the beach, adding to the eerie aura… which he found delightful.
After descending down a dune, Rhazien finally felt the chill of wet sand squish between his toes. A snort left his nostrils, and he started trailing along the shoreline, not looking for anything in particular. Until he saw her. Her silhouette appeared along the horizon, earthen colors contrasting against the grey backdrop. She was wading out into the water, nosing the surface in search of something, he assumed. Why else would she be out in that freezing water?
Rolling his shoulders forward and puffing out his coat, Rhazien sauntered towards the girl until he was standing at the water's edge in her vicinity. “Well... hello there, little lady.” He called out to her, wanting her to turn and set her eyes on the beast lingering just out of reach. “What’s a pretty girl like you doing out here in the cold, all wet and alone?” He couldn’t help but trail the curvature of her body with his eyes, as he flashed her a sly, devilish smirk. His comment was meant to be flirtatious, though the look in his eyes revealed more sinister intentions.

his voice was like a dark, velvet caress against her ear fur, drawing her attention from the water below as easily as if their eyes were magnetic forces, snapping together with a decisive click. warmth filled her the moment she laid eyes on him, drawing a bright flush to her face and heating the blood in her veins; he was just so. damn. handsome. his slate grey pelt stretched over a large, very well-muscled build, and there was a sharp, well-defined curvature to his handsome face, and his eyes -
internally, Dulla swooned. externally, she straightened up and tried to affect some semblance of grace and dignity. “er, hello…” a shy smile flittered across her face, tempered with obvious embarrassment. of all the days she met a handsome man, it was when she was knee-deep in water and dishevelled from fishing! she opened her mouth to explain - anything to salvage this! - but froze at the next words that left his mouth. pretty! he’d called her pretty. delight and bashfulness warred across her tawny face, emotions as easy to read as paw prints in the snow. “you’re pretty too,” she blurted - then cringed, wishing desperately that the ground would swallow her up. “i-i mean, not um, not pretty! pretty handsome, is what i meant! not that you aren’t also pretty -“ oh gods, just kill her now!

As he called out to her, he kept his tone of voice smooth but throaty, given the deep baritones that accompanied his words. Her head lifted from the water, eyes shifting to align with his own. Pools of soft pink fell into those of amethyst and emerald, and Rhazien felt a spark of lust simmer inside of his abdomen. She was so small, pretty, and malleable. All he had to do now was set the stage… which seemed to be advancing, given the rosy color that spread across her cheeks. It caused his smirk to grow wider, muscles tensing beneath his thick coat, as he slightly swayed to the side to allow her to get a better look at him.
She straightened up, perhaps trying to gain some composure before she offered a greeting. A rumble resonated from inside of his chest, a wordless acknowledgment of her words. And then she called him pretty. He waited a few moments, watching her squirm beneath the intensity of his gaze before a bout of laughter bubbled from his throat. It wasn’t her statement that made him amused. He was simply enjoying the way she fluctuated, trying to stay modest but she was notably flustered. “Mmm, pretty? Never heard that one before.” He teased through another brutish grin. Without warning, Rhazien strode forward into the water, wading through the shallows until he was only a few yards from her. If she didn’t retreat, he would advance until he was nearly beside her, shifting his gaze down into the water.
“Now handsome I can accept,” He brought his nose towards the surface, slowing his breath to not disturb it further. Once he saw the flash of silver he was looking for, he brought his head back up, cocking it slightly so he could peer down at her. She was so small compared to him. “along with dapper, suave…otherworldly.” Heat rolled off his body in waves, surely reaching her flesh if she was still within his vicinity. Which he hoped would ignite something inside of her. “If you’re looking for fish, I can help you.” A simple offer, but it would come with a price. “That’s if, you promise me something in return.” Wanting to dig his talons into her, Rhazien would offer her a trade he figured she wouldn’t pass up. All she had to do was engage.

she stiffened further as he waded into the water, holding herself at such attention that it was almost painful; she was hyper-aware of every inch of her body, every minute twitch of fur and shift of muscle. it was a kind of tension she'd never experienced before - as though she were poised on the precipice of something, unsure whether to back away or hurtle herself over the edge. "i...don't doubt that," she murmured, voice faintly breathless. no doubt he'd had copious women throwing themselves at his feet, enamoured by his beauty. Dulla herself couldn't take her eyes off him, couldn't pull her gaze from those dazzling eyes, like twin pools of frost glittering beneath the violet blush of dawn. the closer he got, the warmer she became, until she was practically burning up despite the tepidness of the water. even during her brief tryst with that rogue she'd thought she'd loved (bastard!), she'd never felt so tongue-tied, so...helpless. this man...he was unlike anyone she'd ever met. "you...can help me?" she questioned, brow creasing in slight confusion. then it all came rushing back to her, and she gave herself a vigorous shake, flushing violently. "oh, right! the...fish." that's right, she'd been fishing...hadn't she? it was like a hot, heavy fog had momentarily descended upon her, rendering her completely useless in the presence of such...power came to mine. "er...what would you like?" anything, she wanted to say. he could have anything he wanted. "if it's within my power, i'll give it to you."

Her words were a mere whisper on her lips, breathless and soft, just as he imagined her skin would feel. As she looked into his eyes, captivated and unyielding, he couldn’t help but wonder, just how supple her curvature was. Would he find out soon? His smirk widened a bit as she became fixated on his offer, trying to deduce the meaning of it. Rhazien had left it cryptic on purpose, wanting it to ruffle her further - which was exactly what it did. “Of course I can.” He beckoned, swaying even closer until the tips of their fur danced with one another, intertwining his monochrome pallet with her earthen one.
If she ran with her original whim, Rhazien would have obliged. But to his disappointment, she regained her senses enough to remember the fish. The sly expression on his face didn’t crack, but behind his eyes was a swarm of displeasure. Tsk. She was making this harder than he thought. But being the tactician he was, Rhazien loved playing a good game. “It’s in your power, believe me.” He said, still peering down at her. “I want to see you again after this.” A second encounter to seal the deal, a way for him to burrow deeper into her skin. A play on her heartstrings, with the implication that he wanted something more from her. It was all part of the game.
“Now, to the fish.” He said, not caring for her to respond. Because, whether she wanted to see him again after this, didn’t matter. He would hunt her down either way. If the girl didn’t move, Rhazien would use his lumbering height to his advantage. Menvueving his body, he would attempt to step over her, so that each of his limbs were on either side of her, and he was hovering above her. He was tall enough to prevent his belly from touching her back if he didn’t bend his legs. But the heat rolling off his body was certainly enough to mesmerize her. “Bring your nose down, like this.” He bowed his head down, bringing it beside hers, hovering his nose above the surface. “Open your jaws, wiggle your tongue.” He enacted it, using his tongue to draw a fish in. Imagine what else I could do with it. And, once it was entranced by his makeshift lure, he closed his jaws shut and pulled a moderately sized fish from the water.
Still wiggling inside of his mouth, Rhazien tightened his jaws until his fangs penetrated enough to kill the fish. “See?” He said, voice a bit muffled. Streams of blood tricked from the corner of his mouth, which was contorted into a smirk. Dropping it and licking his lips in a slow, sensual manner, he gave a command. “You try.” He didn’t remove himself from her, only peered down with an expectant expression.

i want to see you again after this. a full body flush worked it's way through her bloodstream, resulting in a bloom of pink across her cheeks and a widening of her eyes. the idea that such a gorgeous man might desire her even a tenth the amount she desired him...that she might make such a stoic pillar of power and strength even mildly warm and unsettled…it was so romantic a notion it made her giddy. “i…very well,” she agreed, inclining her head in a slow nod - as though she’d had to take a moment to consider, as though she wasn’t practically bursting with eagerness.
and yet, her neutral act all but dissolved as he stepped over her, positioning her directly beneath his mountainous body. Dulla dragged in a shuddering breath, scarcely able to think. he was everywhere, every sight and sound and smell radiating that raw, primal ferocity that seemed to roll from him in waves. Dulla shuddered and bit down on her lip, hard, trying to stifle a whimper. she felt caught, utterly snared like a fish on a hook. once more all coherence and awareness fled her mind at the sight of that tongue, unfurling to coax a fish into his maw. she felt a little like that fish, entranced by him, unable to feel the trap closing in until she was already pierced on his teeth.
she knew that, and yet she wanted all the same.
following his instructions, she parted her lips and let her nose hover above the water, tongue moving first in awkward jerks, then growing more confident with every stroke. a flash of scales caught her eye, and she darted forward to nip a slender, wriggling shape between her teeth. she lifted her head, eyes bright with triumph as she met the man’s gaze, and held eye contact while she crunched down on the fish. blood began to seep between her teeth and drip down her muzzle, staining her chest fur bright crimson. it was wonderfully depraved, and a thrill traveled down the length of her spine, eliciting a delicious tingle. she hadn’t known she could even feel this way, or was capable of these thoughts - but this man drew it out of her as effortlessly as he drew fish to the surface.
mouth falling openly, she let the fish drop limply to her feet and allowed her eyes to drift down to the man’s lips, cheeks burning at her own brazenness. perhaps it was the adrenaline of the kill, or a self-destructive streak; perhaps he really had hypnotised her with those brilliant eyes. regardless of the reason, she leant in with desperate longing, eyes burning while her lips pursed into a dainty moue. waiting for him to close the gap.

Looming over her, Rhazien couldn’t deny the carnal lust that was simmering in his abdomen, threatening to spark into a full-blown inferno. It would be so easy to push her down, hold her head under the water, mount her. He certainly had the strength to do it, and the hunger that needed satiation. And yet, he still chose to take a different approach, siding with charisma and manipulation, because the reward would be that much sweeter. If she was going to call out his name, he wanted it to be through breathless, passionate moans… because he had heard the latter far too many times.
And my, was she putting on a show for him- mimicking his actions, face alit with a rosy hue, eyes sparkling with enamor. The jerking of her tongue was haphazard at first but became more calculated with time. Could she stroke him in the same manner? Bringing his lips close to her ear, tickling the thin hairs within with his breath, he crooned a command. “Subtle movements now. Lure it in… make it…. want you.” The smile on his face widened, perverse fantasies playing inside of his mind- but on the exterior, it seemed as if he were smiling to give her praise.
A flash of silver, the chomp of jaws closing, the scent of blood weeping from wounds. She caught her prize, raising her head to show it to him, before crunching down harder on the slimy thing. It wasn’t the successful hunt he found sexy- it was the blood dripping from her maw to stain her chest. The lust whirling in her rosy eyes. He had seen it on so many female faces- but something about this girl made him feel like he might get luckier faster than he thought. She was almost desperate for him. Mesmerized by his antics. And he loved it.
The fish fell from her jaws, creating a soft splash at their feet, while the ocean kept swaying them back and forth as the tide slowly rose. His eyes locked with hers, alit with fervorous greed. And, as her eyes trailed down to settle on his lips, they pulled back tighter, revealing more of his fangs, flashing her a devilishly handsome smile. She leaned in, lips pursing into a dainty moue. Rhazien knew exactly what she was going for, and he wouldn’t disappoint. He closed the gap, moving slowly at first, wanting the anticipation to build, needing the sparks to fly. And once their lips met, he started with a slow, passionate embrace. Savoring the blood on her lips, cleaning it from her whiskers and maw. And then, his kiss morphed into something raw, and carnal. Passionate in his advance he brought his body down onto hers, feeling the curvature of her spine pressed against his abdomen. “What a naughty girl.” He teased through deep baritones, trailing his lips away from hers, up to her cheek, and to her ear. “I may drown you out here, if I get too rough.” It was a prelude to what he was craving, but also served as a warning. “Join me on the beach.” His tongue snaked from his jaws, trying to wrap around her ear, wanting to ignite her skin with warmth. How far was she going to take this?

the press of his lips against hers sent shock waves rippling down her spine and through her veins, eliciting a sharp gasp of surprise that served only to allow him further access to her mouth. this was nothing like the clumsy fumblings of her youth, where she’d had to be chaste and quick for fear of getting caught; this man was sure and decisive, guiding her with such passion and certainty it took everything in her just to hang on for the ride. her stomach was twisting and writhing as though she’d fallen from some great height, her heart galloping so loudly she half feared he’d tease her for it, and her legs buckled so violently she had to clutch at him for support. in short, she couldn’t be sure if she was having the most intense sexual experience of her life or dying slowly from cardiac arrest. although, looking at the wicked gleam in this man’s eye…perhaps the two weren’t so different. when he withdrew, she sucked in panting lungfuls of air, head spinning with the suddenness of it all. she was overwhelmed and giddy simultaneously, her body a riot of pin-prickles and sparks; everywhere he touched her was alight with sensations, as though his very hands were conduits of some great electrical source. so lost was she that his words barely registered until he was urging her to the beach, his tongue a marvel of pleasure where it lapped against her ear. to her humiliation, a low whine slipped out from between pursed lips, as though the very idea of his returning to the beach without her was simply too unthinkable a notion. there were warning bells ringing through her head, but she was too far gone to heed them, their sounds dull and distant amidst the heated fog that had descended over her mind. slipping clumsily through the water, Dulla followed him eagerly to shore, pressing as close as he’d allow. given her current state, she was sure she’d follow him anywhere in that moment - he could stand atop a cliff and sweetly suggest she might jump from it, and she’d be leaping through the air before the request had completely left his lips. if it might make him happy, she would gladly do it. |
