While she wasn’t the most herbally inclined individual that the Hallows had to offer, that didn’t stop her from gravitating toward the greenhouse every now and then to satisfy her curiosities on the subject. If even just to enjoy the environment- basking in the sun’s trapped warmth in a bouquet of delightful scents, it tended to be a rather pleasant experience. Maybe in another life, Talyssa would have pursued a healer’s path- the problem-solving desire was there to be fulfilled. However, everything interested her to some degree, and it was hard committing herself solely to one school of skillset. With that in mind, she was very conscious of the fact that pursuing the field of medicine wasn’t something to be done halfway. So, it was easy for her to feel content in her pursuit of her jack-of-all-trades approach to life, picking up new bits of information as she went along.
On that particular summer afternoon, it seemed that the greenhouse was vacant, which wasn’t necessarily surprising to her. Crossing through the threshold of its entrance, she was immediately flooded with a far more intense level of humidity- though it didn’t bother her too much. It was the plant’s preferred environment after all. With a thorough panning glance through the enclosed space, she was excited to see that a lot had changed since her last visit, and she was all too eager to devote her afternoon to investigating the differences she readily noticed. Passively walking through the main aisle, drifting from one planter to another. She quietly combed through the planters with her pale blue gaze. Of course, she immediately recognized her favorites. The brighter florals with sweeter scents. Though, she would make special note as to which ones she couldn’t readily identify- whenever given the opportunity, she’d corner someone more knowledgeable to teach her the names.
