If it had been any other moment sparrow likely couldve gotten answers. Yes Medusa had done something wrong but if he had to be honest, it had been Recluse karma catching up to her from her actions. Medusa had treated him and even Recluses older litters with respect. In the end that was why hed decided to call insomnia his jome. Yet now, he was in a blind rage his consciousness slipped to something unknown. All he cared about was blood.

His own jaws snapped for her face. Attempting to draw blood from the right side of her head. How did she taste he wondered as his muscles moved in tandem with him. His tail leveling with his body while he continued to try and pressure Sparrow with his body and antlers.

It wasn't really surprising, more disappointing when the earth pulled away from her paws and suddenly only air surrounded her. Limbs flailed around trying to grab hold of... well, anything really, but of course, there was nothing there to grab. Before she knew it, the earth rushed up to meet her (shoulder first) and she barely avoided biting her tongue as she hit the ground with a thud and yelp. Cricket wasn't quite sure what she had been thinking even showing up. She'd been run off enough times in her life to know that standing her ground and fighting was never really an option for her. With bitter memories nipping at her heels, she turned and fled the battlefield, planning to go and hide at the bottom of Mac's taxidermy pile until all this was over. She could tend to any wounds later.

If it had been any other moment... Sparrow probably would have attacked him anyway. What kind of partner doesn't turn to face karma with their beloved? What partner doesn't dismiss at least some of their beloved's bad behaviors. So the woman who beat your wife down treated you with respect so you decide to live with her? Typical man, could never be Sparrow.

Alas, she was blissfully unaware of his reasons, and frankly, she wouldn't have cared. Any excuse would probably enrage her further, make her ask, "but where were you when she died?" He couldn't know where she was buried, hadn't asked, hadn't sought it out. Did he care she was murdered or had he just moved on with his life?

Questions swirled behind the rage Sparrow brought. She felt him guilty somehow, and wanted him more than anyone to know her pain. Her jaws grazed through his cheek, and his own sliced through the right side of her head. She twisted, pushing herself into the other man as blood ran down her chest. It hurt on a physical level, but her emotions drove her further into Eraithus. She sought to swoop his right paw with her left paw and lift. He had his head turned to his left and Sparrow hoped that would help throw hum off balance. She wanted to meet his eyes, lifting her head and aiming to grasp his left cheek and twist toward his right. She wanted him below her. She was losing blood, but her eyes would stay dry for now.
