Such a heavenly view Bella was out for a stroll, Beau had told her to just stay safe and be back by dark, and she figured he had sent Blind to keep an eye on her, so she wasn't worried about any kind of danger. But her adventure today took her likely a little farther than Beau had expected her to go. She had been walking and breaking into a run any time she found something exciting. Currently she was in the middle of running. She could see the bright light of a clearing ahead and the scent of flowers and herbs on the wind made her extremely excited. As she broke from the tree cover she came to a halt with her eyes lighting up and her mouth slightly ajar. Her little half tail was curled up over her back. There was almost a sea of flowers and herbs. And she was more than excited. She might not be a healer but she could appreciate a beautiful sight easily. She tapped her from paws a few times in excitement then ran forward and pounced, flopping into a bed of the flowers. She then proceeded to roll around giggling to herself. She had probably found her new favorite place to be. Walk, "Talk", Think

To say the boy didn’t understand pack boundaries would be an understatement. Gavroche had been outside playing, the fear of the hawk already forgotten as he enjoyed the warmth and sunshine. He was sure he wouldn’t get lost though, because the castle was big and he could always see it behind him. The presence of the structure was associated with his savior, and with the kindness of the pack that was helping him. Gav was happy he was here, if he couldn’t be home! He was happy, enjoying life in the carefree way of a child. Most of his morning was spent chasing after various insects. But one pesky butterfly had proved to be more difficult in trying to catch than the others, and Gavroche hadn’t even realized just how long he had chased it. His tongue was lolling out of his mouth as the tiny winged boy bounced after it. “Wait for me!” But the butterfly shifted direction. It flew higher into the air and Gavroche rose up on his haunches, wings outstretched as he reached a paw after it with a disappointed frown. “No fair…! I can’t fly yetttt!” The boy whined. But the butterfly kept going, fluttering about in the sky above him as Gavroche’s limbs lowered back to the ground. That was when he realized he didn’t recognize the area. He looked behind him, breathing a sigh when he still saw the castle. It was smaller, but he could still see it, so it was okay! He was about to turn and head back towards it when he heard giggling. That was another pup! Ears perked up and with a little gasp Gavroche spun to go investigate. He’d come around a thick leafy plant and find another pup. Not just another pup, but one that was just as tiny as he was! And man, was she BRIGHT! She had night clouds in her fur, but it was just as bright as his dad’s rainbow patches. She only had blue and purples with her white though, and more of the vivid coloring. She didn’t have wings like he did, but she had something different, a bright colored crystal on the bridge of her nose. A blessing! The tiny winged boy bounded over to her and immediately dropped into a play bow, butt and tail wiggling in the air! “Hiya! I’m Gav! You wanna play?” No sense of stranger danger, or danger at all, filled the child. He saw only the potential to make another friend, a big smile on his lips and previous weariness forgotten. "Speech"

I don't care, go on and tear me apart Bella would of been happy to just roll around alone until either the sun set or blind revealed herself to collect the girl. The flowers and herbs here smelled wonderful. Had she been anyone else she might of took an interest in the herbs but she wasn't a healer type, probably much to Beau's chargrin. She found crafting things and tracking to be more her thing. Her time alone would come to a close though, she was mid-flail in the flowers when she saw the other. He was tiny, like her! His coat was like patchwork of reds, blacks and white. He was also gifted like her too! Except his gift was wings and hers a horn on her nose. She sat up and turned her head to face him with her back to him and a gentle smile on her face. His paws hit the ground and his chest folled while his butt stayed up high in a play bow and she nodded vigorously to his invite to play. His name was Gav, she's hold introduce herself to him too! "I'm Bellatrix, but you can call me Trixy or Bella. What do you wanna play?!" with that she was bouncing up and bouncing back and forth excitedly for a second before returning his play bow with one of her own. Her half tail was lifted high and stuck out like a flag as she wagged it rapidly. Walk, "Talk", Think I don't care if you do

When the other pup turned to look at him she wore a smile. Gavroche could feel excitement flooding through him as she agreed to play. She had a longer name too, just like him! Gav grinned. "Trixy! I like it! My full name is Gavroche, but I like Gav!" But she had presented the hard questions. They were going to play but… what game would they play together? There were so many they could play! Gavroche furrowed his brow in thought, his expression becoming serious. "Hmm…"

Well she was a girl, so it might be too rough if they played pounce. As much as Gav liked that game it could be rough with his wings, too. For that same reason, leap frog was out. Maybe they could do tag? And they were small enough they could hide in and around the plants here. A wiggle was giving as Gavroche had a bright idea. "Tag and hide and seek! You hide, and I'll come find you. But once I find you I gotta tag you to make you the next finder!

Bellatrix

She waited for him to think of a game for them to play, her ears pricked forward as she listened. She'd never really had siblings or kids her own size and age to play with so the prospect excited her. His full name was Gavroche he said and she nodded enthusiastically at his preference to being called Gav. He was interesting for sure. What a different name and appearance he had. It was cool.

When he came up with a game she nodded. "Okay, close your eyes real tight and count and I'll go hide!" she bounced a bit as she spoke. She was already thinking of where she could hide. She would blend in really good if she found a flower patch and curled up in it. It would be like her hunting lessons! How fun!

She waited and as soon as he closed his eyes she took off. Her paws darting for a patch of colorful flowers a little ways off. As soon as she was there she rounded so she could see Gav and gently flopped into the flowers, curling up so her colors would mash together and blur from the lines of a pup and into a puffball. It also placed her somewhat covered by the flowers but she could still see Gav. And there she would wait and watch him try to find her.

This was so exciting! Gavroche was so happy that Trixy was willing to play with him, and even better, she seemed just as eager as he was. She bounced a bit in place as she spoke and Gav’s tail swayed back and forth behind him. She was willing to play the game he suggested! The boy’s green eyes lit up and, realizing he needed to count, he lowered his body to the ground and moved his forepaws over his eyes. “Okies! I count!” He figured that ten might be big enough for her to have time to hide. It should be, right? Trixy would have already been turning away to find a hiding spot as he began to count.

“One… two… three~” His rump was wigging in the air as he kept going. Where would the girl hide? Would he be able to find her among the tall plants? Finally he was reaching the end of his counting. “Nine… Ten! Okies I’mma find you now!” The winged child leapt to his paws and looked around. No sign of Bellatrix, okay, good! But… he wrinkled his nose in thought and began to check the leafy plants closest to him. It could be smart to try and slip somewhere close to throw him off… but Trixy didn’t do that. His ears lowered a bit as he scanned the area.

This… could take a while depending on where she hid! He raced to the next plant and pulled it back with his paw. Nothing! Drat. “Hnm… where would I hide…” Maybe he needed to stop checking all the spots and start thinking about how she would blend in to the area? His nose twitched as he sniffed the air. Her scent was there… but so were the scent of different flowers. She wasn’t going to make this easy on him.

She watched him quietly as he searched, having to stifle her giggles with her paw. He was never going to guess that she had decided to hide here and just blend in with the flowers around her.

Then he would have to catch her, and that wouldn't be easy either. Nothing about Bella was easy. She was really fast! Fast enough she almost outran a bear once! She would be the best hider yet!

She kept every muscle tense for when Gav came near. But she needed to wait and be patient. That wasn't her strong suit. But she wanted to do her best.

An idea crossed her mind though. When gav found her not only would she run, she would go into the really tall flowers and try to confuse Gav so she would win!
