OOC: Thread backdated to when Gossamer came to visit Ethne

Dagrún trotted steadily up the mountain to her den site, excited that Gossamer was visiting and eager to impress the other woman with her home. She wasn't much of a home maker but she was pleased with the practicality of her home and she had a number of nice furs she could show off. Well… and of course there was the view.

She paused in her climb, turning to Gossamer with a grin. "It's a bit of a hike, but I figure it helps keep me in shape. The view is incredible, I can't wait to show you!" Turning back she continued the climb. Nerves stirred in her stomach but they were drowned out by the excitement.

When they arrived Dag gestured with her paw to the cave and the firepit outside it. "Home sweet home, feel free to sit on one of the furs near the fire pit, Sperla and I will get a fire going while Gunnar gets the food."

Gossamer felt herself start to relax as she followed Dag up the side of the mountain from whence the falls emerged. The sun warmed her back and the brisk air gave her a little bit of peace. It helped in some ways just to be outside of the Armada and all the memories it held, at least for a little bit so she had some time to heal. Dag spoke of the view and Gossamer smiled softly. "I can't wait to see it." She hadn't been in Auster much.

The hike was tough but beautiful and she couldn't have asked for a better day… or better company. They arrived at a cave entrance and she noticed the plush furs laid out around a fire pit. "It is gorgeous up here, thank you." Gossamer turned to look out over the way they came, watching the water spill over the rocks into the pool below before going to settle down on a buffalo hide next to the circle of stones that made up the fire ring.

"So, how is everything going in Ethne? Are your injuries healing well?"
