Loathe the way They Light Candles in Rome

Elysia had agreed to follow the man of living fire to a meeting, Her bed draped over her shoulders as they walked in silence. Amethyst and Blue eyes flickered around their surroundings. The field began to fade away, the scent of blood and losses no longer sat stagnant and heavy in the air as they walked through a narrow canyon. As the left the battlefield behind she felt a tug at her gut. She liked that place and she had to remember to go back at some point.
She was perfectly content in their silence, she still didn’t know much about the man she followed - Aresenn, she recalled from his introduction after their little squabble. Had not actually been sent to follow her in any way. He’d simply been in the wrong place and had the wrong sent on him. Which was something she didn’t feel sorry about nor had she apologized either.
His call had her ears flickering in attention, wondering just how far away this other person was. Her eyes began to narrow as she tensed herself up for an ambush. Prepared to fight her way out of something if she had to. His voice ripped through the silence causing her to stop her silent surveillance of their surroundings, instead tearing her eyes away and back to the stranger.
“Good thing I’m in no rush then” was her simple response as she shrugged her shoulders. If they were to wait she would do so in comfort. So she pulled her bed from her back, setting it just before her on the ground. Looking at Aresenn she set him a grin before she stepped into it and did a small circle and then laid down.
“So tell me. Do you always do his dirty work. Or is this just a one time thing” she mused. She didn’t know anything of the dynamic between him and whomever was coming. But she did see it as a fun way to poke at her current companion and maybe get some sort of information out of him.
