Venom allowed her brother and his wife to settle back into parenthood before she came calling. Though eager to see her new niece and nephew beans she also knew the feeling of new parenthood. Her youngest were already going on being adults but the memories were still fresh. For a while she had just wanted to be left alone to bond with her new little babies. As much as she wanted to recover, because birth was no easy task.

Today was the day the Klein matriarch would welcome them into the pack though. The couple had plenty of time to settle in with the newborns, and before long they would be taking over the pack themselves. Puppies grew much too fast for her liking. "Chimera?” She called out curiously, wondering if Aliana was taking a chance to get some air and stretch her legs while proud dad watched the babies.

"Venom"

Nine. There were nine children curled up on a pile of furs within their whelping box. It had been a lot for Aliana's body to handle and Chimera vowed that he wouldn't put her through that again. It was the same vow that he'd made after their litter of boys, but... they were such good parents. Boys and girls both this time and Chimera was glad for it. An entire litter of just boys had been rough. He needed more little Rusalka's running about. Ruse had been the best child to raise, paws down.

After the birth of the children, Chimera had sent word to his sister via mastiff, the dog informing her that she was an aunt again. All within the pack had given the fresh parents their space and the time to bond with their pups and for that, Chi and Ali were thankful. Aside from the bonding, Ali had to recover. Nine pups had taken its toll and she was thin and sore. Chi did everything in his power to aid her, whether it was fetching food, giving her little massages, or sitting with the pups while she stretched her legs as he was doing now.

A sound from outside caught the brute's attention and he moved towards the doorway, careful to be quiet. His pale pink eye fell upon Venom and Chi smiled, pulling the fae in for a quick, gentle hug. "Ali is out stretching her legs," he informed her. "Come." The black and white brute led the way inside and led his sister to the pile of sleeping, though slightly squirming puppies within their nesting box. The man said no more, merely watching his sister's face for her reaction to being an aunt nine times over.

"Speech"

Venom wasn’t left to wait for very long when her brother’s chimeric form appeared from the darkness to retrieve her. She returned his affection, hugging him back and burying her nose in his thick fur. At the very least being a father again had occupied his time and his attention. He didn’t have to focus on his title or the larger responsibilities he was missing out on. He was able to take care of his wife after the difficult birth without having to think about being a King. She knew this state was only temporary but he was in such bright spirits compared to their last meeting.

He confirmed that Aliana was out right now as he invited her deeper into the cave. The smell of fresh puppies along with the little sounds of them filled her senses. Immediately she felt the desire for more of her own, but after having nine of his own this was not the time for more. Besides, she needed to finally make her wedding vow to Maverick before they expanded their family once more. "Oh, Chimera. Look at how lovely.” She cooed as she poked her head over the box to take a good look at the gaggle of new nieces and nephews.

"Venom"

Venom softly admitted that the pups were lovely and Chimera chuckled low and equally soft. "Was there ever any doubt? We Kleins make pretty children, you know." A little bit of a tease between the two siblings was normal. Chimera was usually the one teasing. It was in his nature. Well... the nature that had developed after he'd stopped being a spoiled bastard prince.

The brute's pale pink eye roamed over the round balls of fluff. Every now and again a little, plaintive mewl would be released, but the pup would soon fall back asleep. Aliana would be back relatively soon to feed them. Pups never stopped eating. Ever. They were tiny, bottomless pits.

"Feel free to visit any time you wish," he informed his sister. "Family is important and I want them to know all of their Ashen relatives." Knowledge couldn't come from one wolf alone. The pups would need to interact with others in order to develop their own views and beliefs.
