Almost a year old, the girl was growing quickly - but quietly. So easily she was caught up in her own little world, exploring the endless colors and shapes that life held therein. She had grown a touch distant, but still loved her family something fierce. It seemed like just yesterday, that she and her sister had piled up on their brother and gone out into the world, bright eyed and bushy tailed and ready for adventure. Yet just as it seemed like in a blink they had all grown so much, it seemed like forever since she had seen them. Perhaps she would seek out their exciting yet all too comforting presences. Familiarity was warm, despite how buzzing and yellow Gira was and stern and smooth and deep deep orange Oberon struck her as.
Walking the most familiar territory she would perhaps ever know, she found herself looking for someone - anyone that was a part of Ludicael. She wanted company, and didn't care whether they were quiet or chatty. For the most part she trusted the wolves of this pack. None so far had struck her as alarming or dangerous, even on her most anxious or darkest of days. Idly she wondered how her mother was. Perhaps she was with the dark woman she caught lingering from time to time? She seemed to be close to her mother, but she had never gathered the gall to talk to her directly or ask Jupiter about it. It never really felt like her business.

She had expected to find someone that she recognized from a previous pack meeting. But instead she came across someone that was a complete stranger to her. Before she could even get a good look at her, the girl was nearly thrown off kilter by the sharpness that came with her presence, blaring reds that weren't at all like the sunset of colors that represented her family. Immediately the girl was put on edge, stepping back as the other stepped forward. It was a moment of panic, of insecurity because she hadn't expected to come across someone that she hadn't come across before and wasn't a part of her own family. Yet as she listened to the other female's calm voice, she found herself being lulled ever so slightly.
Ananke watched the other carefully, thinking over her words. She was part of hte Destruction family - one that seemed to be bigger than she imagined it. Bigger than her own at the very least, but she had nothing else to really compare it to because she hadn't met many other families in her lifetime. Silvery eyes stared at the other's mismatched ones, and a moment passed by, one of silence in the mangroves, before a tiny smile crept onto the young female's face. "Hi." She said, albeit a bit shyly. Encountering strangers was hard when she wasn't mentally prepared for it. There was still an edge to this woman for no reason whatsoever - it was abscent from her eyes and posture, from her words and tone, and yet the orange cream colored lupine was stuck feeling like she was on the defensive.
"I am Ananke Illiads, one of Jupiter's children." She wondered why the other had given her so much information right off of the bat - it wasn't as if she was in any position to turn her away. Silently she tried to calm herself down, because logically this woman wasn't any sort of trouble. Yet Ananke was never a creature that was ruled solely by logic. "I don't know where Song would be, but I'm sure you'll find her if you look hard enough." The girl's words were staggered, but not stuttered - spoken with proper enunciation even though her nervousness was apparent.
"Want some help?" Two pairs of eyes were surely better than one.

The girl watched the other, not sure whether she should go with her gut and assume that she was dangerous, or attempt to make friends with this female who smelled somewhat of Ludicael lands. She was a member here, wasn't she? Curious despite her initial nervousness, she blinked at the other's mismatched eyes and simple but exotic markings that sat above and below them. The woman was different, and different was something that the young female could easily appreciate. Distracting herself from the sharp lines and alarming colors that stemmed from this female's presence, she was able to somewhat calm herself down.
Which was a good thing to - because she would be absolutely no help finding Song if she was too busy having a panic attack. The girl decided that she liked the other female's smile after she accepted Ananke's help - although really, what were the chances that she really needed it? The other lupine was grown, and probably had a good enough nose on her. Yet Ananke couldn't easily say that she didn't appreciate her company none the less somewhere in there. A conundrum because she didn't trust her, but the young girl seemed to have met her quota for being by herself as of late. "So, you're part of Ludicael aren't you? When'd you join?" She herself had never seen her, but the air headed young thing had probably missed quite a bit of the going ons here in her birth pack...
She felt a bit bad about it - she shouldn't have to wonder who others were or how they were doing. No, she wasn't too motivated to take any sort of rank in the near future, but this was her home and perhaps appreciating it more would do her good. "I should probably pay more attention." The girl said, a bit embarrassed but with a small albeit sheepish smile on her face. Getting distracted was just so easy for her, she couldn't help it most of the time. If only she could explain to other wolves just why she was so easily taken in by small details and even nothing at all.
