Somehow Albion lucked out that night, as the sun neared the horizon the clouds began to relent their assault slightly. Just enough to let the light through and color the skies in a brilliant display of a spring sunset. His pale pelt acted similarly to the clouds and went from cream to reflecting the oranges, pinks, and purples of the sky. His massive frame stopped there close to the lake, they were too early in the season to see any of the fireflies quite yet but it was still a sight to see. The cattails were beginning to overtake the dead sheaths of last year’s crop and added a slight disturbance to the brilliant reflection of the sky above.
A soft sigh fell from his lips as a small effect of dress relief, the young male was still attempting to make himself at home in Elysium again. After Avacyn had released him of his vow he had felt the dire need to distance himself from the world and the pack. To his regret that meant his siblings here in the pack as well. For the first time in his life he hadn’t been able to convey his emotions with words, instead he had run from his problems. The behavior was entirely unlike him, but Albion felt there had been no other solution.
The thoughts meandered through his mind as he leaned back onto his striped haunches and stared up at the sky.
"Albion & Scylla"

"And so he returns," a snarky little voice would sound from behind Albion. The lake was Scylla's favorite place in Elysium, no matter the season. She frequented the place almost daily unless there was some pressing business to attend to. The marbled woman was there when her brother arrived, resting on a flat stone that hung out over the placid water. Mismatched eyes watched him as he seated himself, his demeanor one of discontent. Served him right, she thought. He'd left without warning and returned just the same.
Sliding down from her perch, Scylla approached her brother. Her brow was furrowed as she stood before him. "I'm upset with you, you know." Hypocrite. Had she not done the same to them when their father fell ill? If he didn't bring it up, she wouldn't remind him. It was better to ignore it and let him feel bad for a moment. He deserved to feel bad. Internally, Scylla was pouting. He hadn't cared enough to even say goodbye to her. He had a lot of making up to do.
Scylla should be seen as a very adult character who will indulge in acts that others may find graphic and uncomfortable. Steer clear if you don't like this sort of thing.
