It was maybe... maybe the last nice day. Maybe the last nice day they would have this year. Wake didn't know that, he couldn't tell you what was coming. All he knew was that the sun was shining, and the sounds of migrating birds were loud in the air. What the fuck! They were so loud, man. Wake imitated the sounds they mad sarcastically, and then shouted them. Loudly, loud as he could. Yes, that would do well! He would take his terrible bird noises down to the beach and he would romp and he would practice them.
And so he would!
There was no shortage of geese and... whatever else. Wake didn't know what they were, really. There were so many of them though. Bunch of fuckers. They were looking at him weird anyway! The boy chased after the creatures gleefully, sending them scattering in all directions. His steps were long and bouncing, kicking up sand and running through the muck and the muddy shallows. Racing down the sandy beach, and getting it well and truly tangled up in his coat. Filly, cackling, having the absolute best time-- hell yeah, what a good last warm day it was.
WAKE ME UP

Calliope wandered out that warm day with not much on the agenda. It seemed none of her siblings were around to pester. Except for one. Standing on the shore with the grass tickling her legs, she watched as Wake ran along the beach. Geese scattered into the air, honking and flapping erratically. Truthfully, the act of chasing geese did seem fun, but not with her brother. She would rather terrorize the geese on her own. Her nose wrinkles as she watches him get muddy and run through the water. Torn between finding someone else to do and joining in, Calliope finally couldn't resist. With her resting bitch face and loomed form, the colorful girl made her way toward her brother. Picking up speed and lengthening her stride, she raced toward Wake and the geese. As she helped scatter the large birds, she leaned in and barreled toward her brother's shoulder. Shoving her own toward his, she let out a cackle before turning back to continue chasing after the geese. |
Warning: Calliope is callous, rude, and unpredictable. Do NOT expect nice things from her.
