Maki liked to think the wall here used to be something like the castle down in Auster. That a great and terrible darkness had descended upon the land, many kingdoms had fallen under the blight and that this stone wall here and other ruins like it were all that remained. It was sad almost, this scenario she cooked up in her head. All the lives lost, the culture, and no one knew or cared to remember how things used to be.

She pawed at the wall, wondering if she could remove a part small enough to take it home as a souvenir, she'd been collecting stuff and things as of late. Little baubles that probably weren't of any value, but looked like they'd be some fancy prop in one of her fantasy stories. Little things that offered sprinkles of inspiration.
