After visiting Hattori to deliver the news of what had happened in Ethne’s borders, Haydée had quickly struck out toward the mountain dwelling pack. Celeste had wanted the information that she had shared relayed to both Hattori and Víðarr and the young Leader knows that this type of news is best delivered in person. The warmth of the spring sun is a welcomed change to the cold autumn winds that ravage the Auster lands and they seem to energize the young woman as she is swift to make her way to the maw.
It is early afternoon when Haydée finds the invisible borders, the scent markers stirring the memory of the night the giant shadow had comforted her. They had not known each other at the beginning of that night but, when the weight of the world had felt like it was too much for girl to shoulder alone, Víðarr had been there to listen. Heat burns her checks as she tilts her head back, singing a call for the dark shadow as excitement causes her heart to flutter and she ponders what he will he think of her now.
Back then she had been a new alpha, alone and afraid but now, she has confidence in her abilities. A warm smile pulls at her features as Haydée’s tail begins to wag in joyful anticipation, already forgetting the weight of the news she is going to share.

The viking king has been busy, far busier than he likes. Celeste's disappearance still hung heavily over the mountain, and he refused to be too busy to search for her. He'd sent word to Erik as well, the boy carrying word in his travels with his older brother. A good boy, or as good as any of his sons were capable of. Even still, Víðarr's heart had been heavy with it.
Haydee's call over the Maw brings a bit of surprise to his expression, a bit of confusion too. For the girl to be this far north was... odd. The viking king's head canted to the side as he drew to the border, looking down at the girl with a smile. "Long walk? Come in." He greeted warmly, tipping his muzzle to the interior. An invitation, no questions asked. The walk from Auster is long, and the concern is clear on his face. Too long a walk for a social call, what had driven the girl here?

Víðarr has two Karelian bear dogs and a white morph tawny owl. Assume they're within calling distance unless otherwise stated.

As Haydée waits for the shadowy man to appear, worry gnaws a hole in her gut. Oh, how she hates bringing this terrible news to his door but, in spite of the heaviness of the situation, the young woman realizes that she is also extremely excited to see him again. When his dark form appears, her tail whips from side to side in rapid succession and she is practically bouncing when he invites her within his borders. With a word, she darts forward, seeking to press her small body into his chest and wrap her small legs around him in a warm hug.
Víðarr had been there for her on a dark night seasons ago and she has not forgotten how he held her while she cried and mourned her lost father. The Viking could have scoffed at her and belittled her weakness but instead he had shown her kindness and love. Sorrow pulls at her heart as she softly laments, “Oh, Víðarr, I have missed you so much.” They have both been busy with their packs but the young Leader still chides herself for not coming to visit the man and his pack sooner.
Finally breaking the contact, she moves to follow him into his territory while Haydée softly saying, “I wish that this visit was under better circumstances but I come baring sad news. Do you know of a woman named Celeste?” Emerald eyes watch him, searching for the telltale signs that he does indeed know her. Her normally soft, gentle features are draw tight with concern and sorrow as she readies to speak of the horrible events that had befallen the woman and why she is now in Ethne.
