Worc called out and Tarnish looked to see a yearling headed his way. Yes, yes! He was going to get his first raid fight. His fur stood on end, hackles raised as his shoulders rolled forward, neck scrunching back. His ears pinned, tail tucked as he pivoted to face his opponent. They collided, the other boys chest slamming into his but he allowed it to happen, even wanted it to happen. His claws where unsheathed and sought to dig into the other boy's shoulders as he let himself fall. At the same time he pulled in his hind legs and kicked out at his opponents soft underbelly, claws ready to shred and render flesh, like a feral tom cat in a vicious fight. The growl did not phase him, if anything it only excited him. He would do his father proud this day!

Bae-Syl’s words did little to soothe her. Belamy was shaking, the anger that once more threats had risen against her family. That anyone would dare come to take what her pack had worked to build. Her ear flicked at the voice a yearling, her green eyes fixing on the younger wolf in an instant. Hay’s chickens? Her fur bristled and her lip lifted again as she flashed teeth. Maybe if she had realized that birds wouldn’t have been harmed it would have caused her to calm somewhat. Maybe if she had taken time to notice that the matches around her were not tooth and claw, life or death, Bellamy would have checked her aggression. But in a world of maybes in the eyes of a woman who had just barely got back to her family after losing a wolf who was like part of her soul, this was justified. Her anger, her retaliation. And then the rock came. Bellamy snarled, gaze fixing on the brat that had tossed it, hurling insults at her. Her fur rose on edge and she bared her fangs at the rainbow marked girl. “You come into our home. Threaten my family… and think you can hurl orders and take what is ours?” Bellamy’s gaze narrowed into slits, anger bubbling forth. Beside her Whiskers sighed. There was no trying to reason with Bellamy now. She could only see the transgressions against her loved ones, not the actual level of those fights, nor the “threat”. All she would be able to do was support the woman in battle… but she didn’t expect Bellamy to come out of this raid unscathed. “You have one chance, pup.” Bellamy widened her stance, tail lashing behind her. Part of the woman’s brain was fighting with itself. Telling her not to attack a yearling, especially not to attack a yearling with the amount of ferocity that bubbled under the surface. Instincts of fight or die flared within her. “Leave now and it will be unmarked. You come at me, I will make you leave.” Her voice continued to drip with venom. If the child wanted to fight, it would be a fight she got. His jaws sought to clench down hard on the woman where he already had her and he simultaneously sought to push this time but to give a hard yank and use his upper body strength to throw the woman to the ground. His shoulder could feel the teeth as the woman was latched but he gave less than two shits. He wanted to make this woman submit and get the fuck out now. His ears pressed as he rose his upper body now, seeking to use the momentum of not only his neck but of him shifting the way he intended to make this woman's face kiss the ground. He hoped the shift also might surprise her. As he rose the rabbit missed mostly only scratching his thigh. His tail lifted high in his dominance and all his defenses from before remained as he narrowed those eyes. His body meant to throw her to his right and if successful she would hopefully be on her back submitting before fleeing with her tail between her legs. He was confident in his own abilities, but he didn't let that confidence become cockiness.

As Haydée stands there, alone in the path of the creeping Raiders, she exchanges jovial words with Gilgamesh. While she has only met the male once or twice, she does not take this escapade personally, because, again, they are Raiders. There, in the driving rain, standing a hairs breathe from the chaos of a pack battle that stands in front of her, the small alpha looks to the Raid King. The smile slips and falters as sorrow fills her gaze and a deep, unfathomable regret that she simply cannot voice lingers in her wide eyes.
In that moment, before she calls for her pack, Haydée cries out to the attackers, “Please forgive my wolves! Whatever happens! We have been through a lot recently and they may not take this as lightly as I do.” With that, the small Leader begs those who trespass on her family’s land to forgive all that will transpire in the next several minutes and she turns her attention back Gil to implore, “Seek me out afterward. Please.” With that she calls her pack to her, summoning a wrath that she knows she cannot control.
The excitement is back, thrumming like electricity through her veins as she charges the much larger male and, if Haydée had noticed the two women flanking him, the young woman may have caught the suspicious looks being thrown around. Paws thunder against the ground, filling the air and beating out a rhythm that stands counter to that of the rain and she knows it is the sound of her pack rallying. As she moves and seeks to bite his back ankle while continuing to race around behind him, Gilgamesh throws a wrench into her plans (and it is pretty big one).
Reading her attack, the taller male decides to sit down, right on the area she is racing through. With a squeak of alarm, she abandons her attack and throws her body forward, sending her tumbling through the mud so that she is able to miss the huge butt that had been aimed her way. Quickly springing back up to her paws, Haydée releases a loud bark of laughter and teases, “Whoa, now! I thought this was a friendly fight! That thing almost smothered me.”
Laughter dances in her green gaze and she sticks out her tongue, a very childish thing to do but something the newly minted two-year-old cannot resist doing. All the sorrow she had felt mere seconds before is erased in the joyful fight she finds herself in. Speaking of fun… one of Haydée’s small paws that is hidden in the mud has been flexing, working the sodden earth into a more usable weapon.
Suddenly, her right foreleg cocks and she tosses a large mud-ball toward Gilgamesh’s face, aiming to try and splatter him with muddy while she shouts, “You asked for it!” Giggles fill the air as the compacted ball of earth, muck, and water is released from the paw and begins its flight toward the calico colored King. As it flies, she begins to pack another one in the hopes of releasing at him should he dodge the first one.
Is Haydée proud that she has allowed this raid fight to devolve into mud-slinging? … Yes. Yes, she is. Laughter fills the air around the fighting alphas.

Dagrún collided with her opponent, shoulder slamming into shoulder and though it would cost her a bruise she relished in it. Fangs cut flesh, tasting blood though not getting the strangling hold she desired. Normally, Dag wouldn't bother speaking in a fight. It wasted precious seconds and there was the matter of distraction. One could rarely fight to their fullest while chattering away at the same time. Still she'd play along a little. Dagrún stepped sharply back, avoiding the woman's horns but not quite the leg that slammed down the front of her own, scraping flesh and nearly pinning her paw. She grinned wickedly at the other woman. "You want my name, bitch? Earn it!"
Defenses still in place she barreled forward again, twisting in towards her opponents front at an angle. This time her jaws lunged forward for the space between Flurry's right shoulder and chest, the place she'd previously wounded. This time her fangs sought to rip tendons and ligaments.

The stripey lady was mad. Like... really mad. "Ya know, you'll live a very short life if you're always so grumpy. Smell some flowers. Take a swim." Her advice was very sound, she knew. Still the woman continued ranting and raving. Ooo, and then she pulled out threats. Basically, leave: or else. The girl snorted softly and gave her head a shake. "I don't think you realize who we are and what we're doin' here, lady. If you want to surrender though, you will be well treated." Like that would happen.
Siduri pushed off from her place, loping towards the earthen woman with no sense of haste or urgency. Almost as though she was coming in to greet some long lost friend or something. When she neared though, the pastel pup planted her paws and rocketed upwards, intending to snap her jaws around the big puff of hair on her opponents forehead. Maybe the lady would be happier if she could see better. She was helping, really. How generous of her.

This child has no idea what she has been through. What she has endured. Her comments, while possibly even well meaning, only fueled Bellamy’s anger further. A short life? The woman has known little more than hardship and challenge. Her happiness was stolen from her on several occasions, and now this wolf dares come to her home, to tell her how she should live her life? A growl rumbles in Bellamy’s chest, increasing in intensity like the roll of thunder. She will not let more of her happiness be stolen. For them to threaten to take her daughter’s chickens, her little Haydée’s joy, is nothing short of insult. Bellamy’s claws dig into the muddy earth as the rain fell from the skies above. Didn’t realize who they were? Of course she did. They were a threat. Bellamy snarled at the kid. “And you don’t realize who we are! I will be dead in battle before I ever surrender to those who take what is not yours!” The girl wanted to continue to press her luck. Whiskers whined beside her. “Bells she’s a kid… please…” Even Ears had faltered. He cast a look at Whiskers. “She’s not listening.” He told her. Bellamy had slipped into her old mindset, tuning out all reason, everything else around her. The kid approaching at a slow pace did not make her move. Not until the girl attempted to lung up and reach her mane. The girl grabbed hold, but that was exactly what Bellamy was waiting for. Her right foreleg swung out in a hooking motion, attempting to grab the pup and swing her closer to her jaws. Upper and lower jaws parted as she twisted her head and sought to grab the kid’s shoulder. She wanted to toss this brat away, to chase these wolves away from Ethne’s lands. She would do whatever she needed to. Flurry had to admit she was finding less luck in the whole flirt while fighting thing as of late. Some people just refused to enjoy themselves. She missed her attempt to gain control of her opponents head but not her little stomp. "I'd be less worried about us, and more about whoever is going around shoving sticks up all your asses." Flurry quickly reset her defences as the other woman pulled herself free. "I'm not so bad if you just lighten up." Hell she even tossed in a wink. For the split second before she was being rushed again. Flurry hissed in pain as fangs dug into her flesh. She hadn't bothered trying to step aside. Flurry would take her licks if she thought it'd give her the upper hand and with the other woman being already shorter than herself Flurry would let her opponent go lower. Flurry craned her neck forward and angled her head to try and grab at the back of her opponent's neck just below the base of the skull, her fangs already shifted forward. A blur of motion made her glance up quickly as she moved. It was the fucking cat again! Well whatever, she wouldn't snub someone in her corner... She could certainly use one. The maine coon had launched herself at Dagrún's hindquarters, claws ready to grip on hard.

Something was going on, something big. Something important. His father had woken him, Nova, and Jericho up to come with him. Instantly Gavroche was up, waking Dawn and Jet and moving to grab the items his grandmother had said were his the moment he was born. A dagger, a collar. The moment he moved to them Gavroche couldn’t help but shake a sense that they were… that were made for him. But how, when he was barely born when the items were received? Jet would help fit the yearling with the items and, with a glance over his shoulder, Gavroche met his mother’s eyes. He saw her concern… but she didn’t try to stop any of them. She let them go, knowing what was going on.
His wings close to his body the boy slipped out into the rain. A soft glow came from his green eyes, cat pupils dilating. His tiny paws moved over the ground, ears pricked as he slowed his steps. His father and siblings kept going, unaware that the winged boy had fallen behind. The sounds of fighting would start to reach him and Gavroche narrowed his eyes. Dawn growled beside him and Jet let out a grunt. Gav might not have understood why these wolves were invading, but it sounded like his family was angry. He’d creep forward though. Maybe he could sneak up on one… only…
Another growl from Dawn caused Gavroche’s head to turn to see what had got her attention. A patchwork man sneaking through their territory! The boy puffed out his chest and raced towards the other calico, calling out to get his attention. “HEY!” He would tear through the mud, almost slipping and falling over himself before he stopped a short distance away from the other wolf. He lifted his head, green gaze lifting to meet the older wolf. “This is Ethne’s land! I won’t harm you if I don’t have to, but you and your friends need to leave!” His companions stood ready beside him. Gavroche was hoping to win this fight with reason, like he had with Henry, but if the stranger persisted then he would have to escort him out of the lands… somehow!

She'd been sleeping peacefully in her den after the rain had lulled her to sleep. But when she heard her sisters call, she startled awake, blearily blinking her eyes as her surroundings came into focus. Was that a call to arms? Was something happening? She yawned as she stumbled to her paws, listening as Haydee's call died away under the din of the rain outside. She saw bodies running past her den, and she figured that whatever it was, was serious probably. She slipped on the new leather armor she had traded for, and this would potentially be the first time she would use it. It was a little loose still, but the young bear was still growing and it needed to be adjusted from time to time as she continued to grow. Once she had it secured, she lumbered out of her den and followed the trails to where she had seen the others run off to, and when she arrived, she squinted through the rain to make sense of the scene. Outsiders were attacking her family, and she spotted a few of them engaged already. She didn't know what was going on, had never been in a real fight beyond friendly training, and had never fought anyone outside of Ethne, either. She didn't know what to make of what was going on, but she would do what she had to in order to try and protect her home. Spotting someone who had not yet been engaged in a fight, Saga decided to move. She lumbered toward the Raider, large paws eating the ground as she thundered upon him, a threatening, teenage roar bellowing from her throat as she charged at him. Her main goal was to knock into him with her body and weight, to send him into the ground and keep him there. Saga vs Kenway for Raid: Dominance Round: 1/? In the dim light it was difficult to make out who was fighting who–something made even more difficult by his own inexperience. The only figure that was easily identifiable in all of it was Saga's large form so he bounded around the fringes of the fighting to where she was standing. At the very least while he was waiting to find a point where he could jump in he'd be near a friendly face. He hunkered down into a more defendable position while keeping his eyes peeled for any more attackers that might appear from the shadows.
Fights are in full swing around the pair as Jericho successfully slams into the young boy… only to discover that he has played into his enemy’s hands. Paws reach up to his shoulders and hidden claws sink into his shoulders causing him to grunt in pain as the scent of blood fills the air. His momentum keeps him moving forward, rolling the younger boy underneath him and exposing his soft belly to those vicious little daggers of claws. Thankfully, the stranger is not yet an adult otherwise, he would be dealing with far worse than a ton of nasty scratches.
Tail snaps up between his legs, protecting the really important, and tender, parts from damage as those back claws continue to rake across his tender abdomen. With a snarl, Jericho aims a bite at the Raider boy’s neck in the hopes of pinning him in place for what he plans to do next. As he strikes out, Jericho does not complete his next step and, instead, allows his limbs to fold as he aims to fall flat on his wounded underside in the hopes of squishing the younger boy underneath him.
Maybe he can eke out a pin and claim victory… or at least get the kid to stop scratching him. Right now, Jericho would be happy to settle for the latter.

Riv stood then, looking around the raging battlefield. He would stay put and give aid when he could or take in anyone who won their battle only to go after him. He curled his lips back tail level with his spine and hackles raised. The male definitely would be ready if anything were to happen. As long as he concentrated he would be fine.
His hindquarters slam into the muddy ground without a small girl beneath him. Disappoint laces his features with a comical frown that barely hides the smirk peeking through. A rumbling laugh echoes in his chest as he watches her over his shoulder slide across through the mud with a yelp. As Haydee jumps up and turns back to him, his brow raises, waiting to see what her counter attack was.
“I’ve heard the ladies dig a nice rump,” Gil’s tone is joyful, teasing, as if he were talking to an old friend. His own tongue slides out between his elongated fangs in response to her playful gesture. Some might see it as immature, but not quite as immature as maiming a child in his mind at least. Spinning in the mud to face Haydee, his butt still firmly planted on the ground, it’s then that Gil notices her one paw digging into the mud.
His eyes narrow, brain clicking as he prepared for the next attack. Using the terrain to their advantage would be a smart move even if mud ball fights did appear childish in the middle of a raid. Who ever said all raids needed to be serious though? As Haydee’s foreleg cocks, Gil’s body tenses, ready and waiting for her attack. When her legs lifts and suddenly wrenches toward him, the clump of mud is tossed directly at him. Though Gil is slim and more agile for wolves his size, his sitting position makes it difficult to maneuver.
The clump of mud comes hurdling and smacks him directly into his right shoulder. A fatherly and light-hearted laugh vibrate his chest and through the rain, one can tell he is smiling. Yet, Gil isn’t totally messing around. He wouldn’t leave himself completely open. His own paw was braced against the soggy ground, toes clenching, preparing for his next attack. In the next moment, he flips up his leg and flings a wet, sopping mess of mud toward Haydee as he fights to contain his rumbling giggles. “Not sure the size of yours will compare to mine!” Gil taunts back, his smile widening.

Calliope had taken to following Flurry’s lead. If she could head out and around the group, she could potentially sneak her way into the territory, find the chickens, and leave unnoticed. The plan sounded simple, but they had done no reconnaissance. They had no knowledge of where these avian snacks were even kept. That much stumped the young girl, but she wouldn’t allow it to deter her. When her sister engaged with one of the defenders, Cal slipped around the entangled duo. Her brightly pale gaze darted around the dark surroundings. Rain fall through the canopy made it difficult to see. The muddy ground made it troublesome to move faster than a sloppy trot. Her trajectory led her farther around the group of fighters until a massive form had her halting in her steps. A fucking polar bear?! Cal’s eyes widen and she darts away. Nope, not today. Instead, she is surprised by a wolf that is hunkering down behind the bear. When the bear is enticed by her fellow Raider, Cal had attempted to sneak around once more but the boy hiding behind his own comrade had surprised Cal once more. Her pastel fur bristles, lips rising into a snarl as her body shifts into a fight-ready position. “You’re gonna wish I’d taken the bear,” Cal grins, her gaze brightening with excitement and something else that might leave someone… concerned. Another second isn’t wasted. The young girl rushes forward, her large frame tripping and slipping through the mud, but she uses it to propel her forward. Lunging at the boy, Cal attempts to wrap her legs around Dorian’s shoulders and opens her mouth to try and grab ahold of his cheek. Calliope vs Dorian for Minor Maim (Cheek Scarring) Round 1/? Warning: Calliope is callous, rude, and unpredictable. Do NOT expect nice things from her.
Their orders had been simple. They were here to take their chickens, not to escalate things first. Kaija could follow those guidelines. Panting by the time she caught up, her attention was captured by a wolf with an alarmingly colorful pelt - though his base coat was white, much of his body was taken up by rainbow markings unlike anything she'd seen before. It was no surprise that he had caught Kaija's eye.
It seemed he'd just finished a fight - so why give him time to regain composure before charging him? Kaija didn't mind fighting dirty if she had to. Kicking off hard and hoping to rush the man and catch him by surprise, she aimed straight for him, ears flattening against her skull as she ducked to her own left and aimed parted jaws at the flesh where his shoulder met his neck. Maybe she wouldn't be successful in keeping a hold there, but at the very least she hoped she could do some damage in the meantime.
