The air hung heavy with the promise of rain as Talyssa traversed the new expanse of territory. The earth beneath her paws was soft and slightly damp, evidence of the early spring that graced the land. The sky, a canvas of muted grey, hinted at the impending release of raindrops. Her pale gaze combed through the surrounding territory- densely packed landscape with a huge diversity. The garden was a symphony of colors, with brightly hued flowers reaching for the muted sunlight that filtered through the thick cloud cover. Her senses were heightened, attuned to the subtle rustling of leaves and the distant calls of unseen creatures. The air carried a distinct fragrance, a blend of nature in bloom and the earthy scent of new growth dampened by dew.
The allure of the healer's paradise wasn't lost on Talyssa- whilst not a true healer herself. As always, the pursuit of knowledge and understanding being what drove her. The abundance of herbs spoke to the potential for medicinal treasures hidden within the confines of the wild garden. Talyssa's noted the familiar shapes of plants she recognized from the greenhouses back at Hearthstone, but of course, those were the ones that didn't really serve a purpose in collecting. Even still ... they were still very pretty to look at.

Talyssa lifted her gaze from the intricate details of a blooming flower as the energetic voice pierced through the tranquility of the gulley. The delicate petals of the flower seemed to tremble in response to the sudden disturbance, and Talyssa's sharp ears swiveled in the direction of the commotion. She turned to face the approaching pup whose vibrant fur standing out against the natural colors of their surroundings. "Well, hello there." Though it seemed as if greetings were cast to the wayside. Talyssa couldn't help but chuckle on the little girl's tirade about badgers. "Badgers can be quite bothersome, can't they? Always disrupting the peace." Her gaze then shifted to take in their surroundings, noticing their unfamiliarity with the area. "As for getting lost, I think that's just a relative term," she mused, her tail swishing back and forth behind her. "Where did you come from? And where were you headed before those pesky badgers interrupted?" Taly asked lightly, trying to get a better understanding of their situation. But before they could answer, she was prompted for an introduction. "My name is Talyssa," she continued, dipping her head in acknowledgment. "And who might you be?" Her kind gaze held a hint of amusement as she awaited the pup's response.

The girl shared her opinion on badgers and Siduri's eyes got wide as she nodded. A very, "I know, huh?!" gesture. Bastard badgers! The girl's brow furrowed as she looked back in the direction of the hidden badger. They'd pay some day for their transgressions!
A question pulled Sid's attention back to the older girl who had quickly introduced herself as Talyssa, then asked her name in turn. I'm Siduri and I was looking for some plants to take back so that I can learn about healing... but I don't know what plants to take. They kind of look the same to me. As if to prove it, she plucked two strands of grass, one from either side of her. Holding them up in front of her face, she shrugged. Grass is grass, but some of it smells different even though it looks the same. Sid flashed a sheepish grin, her multi-hued eyes closing to small slits. I have no idea what I'm doing.
