here piggy, piggy, piggy!
insomnia hunting expansion
Medusa had requested help expanding into the willows. That was something Ghoul could manage in the meantime. Especially now that his pups were born and safely tucked away, he could feasibly leave without feeling as if something bad were to happen. Gathering a group, whether old or new, Ghoul led them out into the boggy fields around the weeping willows. As they wander, trying to avoid the muckiest of areas, he tries his best to follow a scent that led them deeper into the thicker areas of the grove. "There's a group of hogs not far," he calls back quietly to the group. "If we can surround them, we can probably take at least one or two down," Ghoul is hopeful they can hear his rasping whisper before he continues further. It isn't long until he hears the hogs snuffling around through the roots of the willow. Stopping in the mud, he lifts tail and lets his ears fall back to alert the others that they had made. "See those there? They can be nasty if you're not careful. They have tusks that will gore you," he turns his ruby gaze to the group, hovering on each one to ensure his point was made clearly. "When we're ready, we'll spread out and go in to try and corner one," Ghoul waits until they all agree before setting out his plan. |
Warning: If anyone dares to fuck with Cricket, their pups, or Macabre, you will be answering to him.
"Speech!"
Mac couldn't help it; a whispery giggle rolled off his lips as he slunk in stealthily behind his brother, watching the packs of hogs lazily grazing beyond their reach. All he was thinking about was sinking his teeth into the thick hide of one of the creatures, and using their parts for his taxidermy projects. Hog hide was tough, alright - but with the right tools and a little patience, he could make the perfect piggy to decorate his den, too. He wasn't even concerned about their dangers, eyeing the tusks without so much as a flinch. Danger was practically his middle name -- but so was stupidity, so take your pick.
Still, he obediently stayed by his brother's side, waiting for the signal and for the other wolves to prepare. He already had his sights on one piggy in particular, heading the group it was in; a rather plump specimen, he flicked his gaze to Ghoul, hoping he'd take the hint that hey I'd really like to take that one please.
He heeded Ghoul's call, stepping forward to join the assembly, ready to lend his strength to the hunt. He had to, as his pride as his mother’s son grew with each passing day. Traversing the boggy terrain under the canopy of ancient willows, Redrum followed Ghoul's lead, his every step calculated to avoid any obstacles as he followed the older hunters. The scent of the prey lingered tantalizingly in the air, guiding their path deeper into the heart of the grove.
As they neared their quarry, Ghoul's rasping whisper carried through the mist, alerting the group to the proximity of the hogs. Halting in the murky mire, Redrum's keen ears caught the faint snuffling of the hogs, their presence confirmed by the telltale rustling among the willow roots. His muscles tensed in anticipation, senses sharp as he prepared to face the formidable beasts lurking amidst the tangled roots. Ghoul's warning echoed in the stillness, a reminder of the danger that lurked within the shadows of the grove. Redrum nodded solemnly, his ruby gaze meeting the eyes of his fellow hunters, a silent acknowledgment of the danger they faced. Or that he faced, as he lacked experience in a team setting. He would have to do well to take the signals in stride, and play his cards right. Redrum steeled himself for the fray, ready to meet the challenge head-on.
Redrum speaks in third person, known as illeism.
He deals with neurological issues from head trauma,
Causing disruptions in speech and movement,
Making him appear twitchy, with uncontrollable tics affecting every muscle.
Assume he isn't wearing his skull mask unless specified.
