Marrow

When she imagined a meal on the go it wasn't quite like this. Marrow bolted through the brush, the half-eaten carcass of a fawn flailing around in her jaws as she tried to find a way to both chew off chunks and hold it at the same time. She swallowed a large hunk of meat and in the process dropped the kill. "Shit!" She whirled around but by then the dingos she'd stolen the kill from had show up. "Heeyyyyy… was this yours? You sure?" They snarled at her, unable to understand what she was saying. One lunged for her and she ducked down and pushed forward, her shoulders slamming into the dog's chest as her fangs latched into its belly. It screeched as she pushed it aside. The others soon moved in.

Exploration was the name of the game and Siduri was winning. The cavern that she found herself in was pretty neat. There were a bunch of dead fish laying around though so the cave was kind of smelly. The rocks on the walls were shiny. Shiny was nice.

A commotion pulled the pastel girl's attention from the cavern walls and she watched as a wolf fled from a bunch of dingos. There were too many of them for one wolf to fight off alone but hey, she was a wolf too! Sid ran up an incline in the rock and leaped down amidst the pack of dingos with a roar of triumph. "A dingo ate your baby!" she crowed in the best accent that she could manage, then flung herself at the nearest tawny dog. Teeth sank into its leg and she pulled hard, knocking the dingo to the ground. The sheer confidence in her attack scared the living shit out of the dingo and it left a trail of dust as it tucked its tail and ran.

A screechy war cry and something about a dingo baby and Marrow found herself an ally. A colorful almost-yearling leapt into the fray, crashing into one of the dingo's and sending it running. Marrow released the one she'd dug into the guts off. It whimpered and flailed to its feet, leaving a trail of blood as it ran. It was soon replaced by another dingo that charged at her. Snarling she lashed out at it, her claws swiping across its face, tearing through flesh and sending it yowling to the ground. "Piss off!" She snarled, sending blood-stained spittle into the air. The dingo was not impressed, it snarled and got to its feet, charging once more. What a stubborn piss ant.

With one dingo running and another dragging itself away, Siduri crowed again just as the other girl told her opponent to piss off. Electric pleasure eked up Sid's spine. Word pleasure. "YEAH, PISS OFF!" What? She wanted to try the fun words out too.

A second dingo rushed at her, taking her off guard thanks to the new addition to her vocabulary. It connected hard with her side and Sid released an audible "Gug!" as she thudded into the ground. "Dude, why even?" she coughed, struggling to get to her paws. Shaking her head, the girl growled at the other canine. "Fight me like a man, you potato thieving brigand! I'll use your guts for guitar strings! I'll turn your skull into a bowl for soup! I'll plant turnips in your belly basket!"

Diving forward, the girl's teeth bit into the throat of her opponent, clamping down hard. She shook her head but didn't do very much damage since the dingo was a bit bigger than her and... she wasn't really trying too hard. Couldn't they just run away? She still had a long walk after this.

Marrow laughed as the younger girl mimicked her. Fuck yea! They were going to show these mutts who the superior canines were. As another dingo charged for her Marrow leapt forward, fangs latching onto the side of the dingo's face as she raked her claws down the front of its front legs. It yowled and thrashed, paws beating at her chest as it tried to free itself but she held fast. Marrow was still young but by now she'd nearly grown to her full size and she had no problem throwing her weight around. She grinned as she heard the other girl's colorful tirade. With a final shove Marrow released the dingo sending it stumbling back. It flailed before getting to its feet and bolting.

The dingo that she'd been throttling realized that the rest of its comrades were fleeing or had already fled. It pushed free and followed suit running after the rest of them. Sid took a few bounces after them and roared, "Flee! Flee for yer lives, ye suckers of chickens!" That was how it went, right?

Turning back to the equally pale girl, Sid flashed her a debonaire grin. "Ye fight pretty well." With a little blood on her face, Sid found the larger girl to be quite pretty. Again she grinned, trying to be pleasant, but probably looking like more of a maniac than anything.
