SA-KA-NAAAAAAAAA!
It was no secret that Siduri was a proud girl. Look at her damn parents for gods sake. Of course she was going to be proud. The entirety of the Raiders was full of prideful wolves. They were just better than everyone else. Because of this pride, Siduri was extra excited to share her healing exploits with someone. Sakana was the first wolf to come to mind after her dad. The earthen brute was a healer. He would completely understand!
Ripping into the common area of the isle, Siduri skidded to a halt on long, long legs. She was growing up and had almost reached her full height, but she was thin and gangly. Not at all filled out like she would be as an adult. "SA-KA-NAAAAAAA!" she roared out across the island. Where in the hell was he?

Inspired by Jael's chicken coop, Sakana had picked the wolf-dogs brain concerning design and had been tinkering with closing in the back veranda on his little bungalow. Some of the boards needed replacing to prevent snakes coming up through the floor. In the end it would be more of a secure roost than a physical cage to keep the birds in, but it might prove useful down the track. Pigeons were known for their homing instincts after all.
Ripped from his task of fitting some branches to the enclosure by Siduri's blood-curdling summons, his ears fell back against his skull in worry and he tore through the bungalow and out the front door, leaving the whole building open. He would have to hope it was close enough to the populated areas that wildlife wouldn't get in and fuck with his supplies, that was until he heard the door slam behind him and looked back to see his blonde capuchin on the front veranda with one of her hands on her hips, the other flipping him the bird as he scrambled away.
He chuckled, but there wasn't time. What if Sid'd been hurt again? What if her vision had deteriorated and she couldn't see out of her injured eye at all? There were so many possibilities racing through his mind that he didn't even slow when she finally came into sight, sliding to a stop just short of bowling her over, he began nosing the girl carefully all over, checking her while he caught his breath. All seemed ok? “Is everything ok Sid?” He finally questioned, his tail taking up a hopeful wave. If she'd just wanted to see him, he could breathe a sigh of relief, but for now, he was holding on, afraid of what might happen if he relaxed too soon.

Her scream for the stripey healer had brought the man running full tilt towards her. Sakana skidded to a halt before her, instantly nosing her and inspecting her for damage. The attention and tickling sensation of his nose sifting through her fur brought a soft giggle from the girl. He asked if everything was okay and Siduri was tempted for a moment to be dramatic and tell him that she was dying, but she didn't let the intrusive thoughts win. His reaction would have been amazing to see, however.
I'm okay, she assured him, giving his shoulder a friendly little headbutt. "I healed one of The Hallows wolves today! He had a cut on his leg and I cleaned it and put ointment on it and bandaged it." Siduri beamed, terribly proud of herself and her skills. Why was she seeking out his approval? She couldn't quite pinpoint it, but he was the first one that she wanted to tell after her father, whom she hadn't quite been able to find just yet.
Without waiting for Sakana to answer, the pastel girl laughed aloud. "And then I kissed him!" Sitting on her haunches, Siduri placed a paw on either side of the big mans chocolatey face. "Like this!" Sid placed her lips square on Sakana's, giving him a decent enough kiss for someone who had only had a single kiss before it. Little tingles zipped through the girl. Oh... She hadn't felt tingles when she'd kissed Solaire.
Pulling back, her paws were still on the healers cheeks. Multicolored eyes crinkled at the corners as she smiled at him. "So, are you proud of me?" Her head gave a girlish little tilt and her voice was softer than usual. Perhaps she was a natural flirt.

Sakana did heave a heavy sigh of relief when she confirmed she was ok, and his shoulders visibly slumped. As she went on to tell him about her skills being put to use to heal one of the Hallow's wolves, he allowed his rump to plop to the ground and his tail tapped the ground, signaling his pride. Before he could tell her as much though, she had grabbed hold of his face and planted a kiss on his lips. Panic flooded his system, his whole face on fire, ears falling tight against his skull expecting Modesty to materialise and rip off an ear at any moment. When it was evident her mother wasn't going pop out of the air to unalive him (yet), he managed to muster a grin. “So you beat me to my first kiss, an' then went an' stole mine too?” He had to laugh or he was going to start hyperventilating, but his chuckle didn't sound quite right.
He wasn't even sure if it counted if it came from a kid, but he wouldn't voice his doubts, glad that milestone could now be called done with. “But yeah, I am proud of you,” He lifted his own paw to ruffle the fur between her ears. “So who was this Hallows wolf, huh? Did you want to kiss 'em or do I need to go kick some butts?” Even he wasn't quite sure if he was joking or not.

Sid released Sakana's cheeks and laughed as he claimed that she'd stolen his first kiss. The girl was absolutely tickled at the prospect of having stolen a kiss. "I'm a Raider through and through, Sakana. I'll steal your kisses, I'll steal your chickens, I'll steal your... uh..." what else could she steal? A gooey, mushy little thought entered the girl's mind and she grinned, giving her head another coy little tilt. "Maybe I'll steal your heart." Siduri, Stealer of Hearts was a good name. She'd take that.
Sakana ruffled the fur between her ears and Sid beamed, her own tail swishing back and forth behind her. He was proud and she liked that a lot. Suddenly she wanted to hear more good things about herself, but the man's next question had her giggling profusely. "His name was Solaire and he was really nice. He had a nice face." One brow arched as Sid thought about it. "It was my choice. I just wanted to see if I could do it and if I might like it." Her gaze met that of the earthen man. "Like an experiment, you know?" Sid bounced her head from one side to the other, the smile returning. "I didn't really feel anything when I kissed Solaire, but I liked kissing you." Had he felt the same thing? Best to ask, right? "Did you feel happy little tinglies when I kissed you? That's what I felt. What does that mean?" Talk about putting a guy on the spot.

The girl seemed to have an answer for everything, when she threatened to steal his heart he laughed a little easier than before. “I reckon yer've already done that,” His smile was easy, it wasn't hard to say he loved all the raider kids, but after her knock to the head, they'd been spending quite a bit of time together and she'd certainly wormed her way in just as firmly as his agemate not siblings, maybe even more. He'd helped bring her litter into the world as barely a yearling himself, the whole litter were special to him, but especially Sid.
“Solaire, huh?” He committed the name to memory just in case. “Maybe he's just not a very good kisser, you might have to do a bit more experimenting to see if it was just him.” The boy nodded his head as though he had any idea about how that sort of thing worked, “I reckon Loogie would be the better one to ask about kissin' though, she's had a lot more practice than I have.” How he'd managed to dodge her for as long as he had was anyone's guess.
Her next question though, had his face warming under his fur again and he flicked his ear uncertainly, not sure he should really answer. He found himself nodding his head in spite of himself. “Especially in my toes,” he admitted with a grin, “Maybe you're just a good kisser? But I don't think your parents would be happy if we did it again,” He didn't want to encourage her, maybe in a few years when she had more of an idea of what she was doing, but not right now. “I might not survive it and yer've got a lot more hearts t' steal yet!”
