Ronan knew cats came in all shapes and sizes,but this thing? It was uncomfortably big, must've put a strain on its own body with the sheer size of it. He couldn't quite put a paw on what it was either, its features a mismatch of what he thought a big cat ought to look like. Pale like a lion but stripey like a tiger. He supposed ultimately it didn't matter, because it was pissed and coming right for him. Rushing out of the cave like its tail was set afire, with added hissing and snarling for good measure.

His lip curled as he stood his ground, waiting to see if it was a mock charge or the real deal.

He had slipped out of Insomnia today without permission. He had managed to escape the watchful eye of his mother, and all three of her companions. There was a place his companion had talked about that was practically next door, how could he not want to go and see it!? Little did he know that almost as soon as he got there, the young wolf would be right in the line of fire. As he approached the cavern, he spotted a strange looking blue wolf with red stripes and what looked like some sort of bat wings?? Cool! Ripper's tail wagged and he raced toward the stranger. "Hey Mister! What are those th-" He had lacked the awareness of what was happening. As soon as he had placed himself in front of the stranger and starting asking questions, he felt the ground rumble beneath his feet and he turned around to find the biggest damn cat he'd ever seen! His ears flattened to his head as he stared wide eyed for a moment before his companion rushed in and tackled him out of harms way, the Liger rushing by, its giant paws stomping just inches where he had been a moment before. "Wh-what is that thing!?" It looked so cool! But also scary as fuck! "Ripper||"Menace"

Ronan tensed-nope that was definitely not a mock charge. The cat, whatever it was meant business and from the looks of it would happily disembowel him and use his guts as a pretty accessory. He hadn't come this far to die in some backwater part of the world, least of all when- no mames, a kid, really? Now he had to watch his ass and some random pups too? The thought made his head throb, how much of this shit could he take?

At least the kid had a companion with him, one smart enough to swat the youngster out the way-just in time for him not to be smushed under that behemoth of a paw. This shit was stressful.

"No clue- don't let it get ya." Was about all the advice he could offer, before the cat swung towards him, the whole heft of its body seemed almost ludicrously heavy. Had to be about the same weight as a bear, clinging to the form of a cat with paws almost the size of his head. And Ronan had a big mutt head.

He dipped out of the way, moving just enough for the slash to whiff right past his muzzle. Following the momentum of the swing, because with a leg as heavy like that it couldn't stop midway and had to commit, Ronan made to grab at the connecting tissue between leg and torso, where the skin was at its thinnest.

Welp, there was no running back now! Not that he would. He was already invested and ready to fuck shit up! Or as much as a kid his size could fuck up whatever the hell that thing was! Not even the cool looking luchador guy knew what it was. Maybe these beasts weren't as common as say, cougars. Oh! If they managed to beat it, he could go back home and tell everyone he had fought a giant cat the size of an elephant! The thought at bragging about this is what really made it the deciding factor. And lucky for him, the massive cat was focused on Mr. Bluey there, so Ripper took his chance and ran in, jagged teeth and sharp talons at the ready as he launched himself onto the big beasts heel, clinging on for dear life as he tried to take out its ankle! "Ripper||"Menace"

Ronan bit down hard, felt the warmth of blood settle on his tongue- earning him a mighty snarl from the cat, only for it hiss again as the pup got himself in on the action too. Not a risk he thought the kid ought to be taking, the urge to scold and lecture rose up in his throat, but he could hardly do that right now. Mouth full and all.

It was a big cat with a big brain, large enough to work out that this likely wasn't worth the effort. That escaping with a sore foot, armpit and a bruised ego would be better than whatever else the pair of wolves would be willing to do. Ronan had heard the cat loud and clear if nothing else, it didn't want him entering the cave so he could take a hint.

He backed off, carefully, licking his lips only to give the pup a sharp, canine bark. Aka let the fuck go.

He cackled through his ankle filled mouth as he clawed around like a crazed cat with the zoomies. Whatever this beast was, was gonna regret whatever it had done today! He didn't know what it had done, but it had to have been somethin' no? No...wait...it had attacked first...probably. He was too frenzied up to remember at the moment. The beast snarled and growled as it tried to shake him off, but it hadn't tried to reach for him just yet since it was occupied with the big stripey guy at the front. His gaze darted up to find a pair of...oooh! What were those between its legs!? Intent on his next target now, he readied himself to make a leap for the jewels between its legs before big man uttered a sharp bark at him, and Ripper groaned with annoyance. He could take those home! Once the big cat started to try and shake him off, that's when Ripper internally sighed and released his teeth and claws and dropped back to the ground, the giant cat turning and taking its leave from the wolves. Ripper jumped up to his feet, tongue swiping out to lick the blood from his mouth as he looked back to the big guy. "Ripper almost had 'im!" He whined with a pout. "Ripper||"Menace"
