Her mom had been pretty busy since she took over as...what was it again? Ah yeah, the head honcho. Navi was curious about what all that entailed, but also leading a pack sounded like a lot of work! She wasn't exactly interested in that, but rather, learning more about the world itself. She didn't want to be tied down to leading and being responsible! Now that she was a yearling, she felt more comfortable going out and having fun! But...there was one teensy, tiny problem that was a huge problem for her! She didn't feel comfortable crossing the water on her own, so who better to ask for advice about how to get over her fear of drowning (even though she'd never been close to drowning before, but honestly she always stuck to the shallows). Or better yet, mom and dad were the toughest wolves she knew! Surely they both had ideas, no? Would either of them understand? They were a lot bigger than she was, so...maybe it wouldn't make sense. She wasn't sure. Didn't hurt to ask though, right? Then again...maybe she could keep it her secret and just use it as an excuse to bug mom!

Modesty had had a busy morning. The cattle had been moved to a different part of the Dove islands to shit all over everything, (her love for the fluffy cows was waning by the day). Sakana had given her the nod that the chicken coop had been sterilized and so had the quarantine pens, so she had sent Moo off to track down the cattle dogs so she could organise a surprise for Jael, and the goats they had gathered from the Moor were comfortably working their way around Daager Isle, clearing out the underbrush and pissing off the predators, making it clear they weren't welcome here.

As she stepped off the rickety bridge, her eyes fell on her smallest child, and she gave her daughter a grin, trotting over to pull the girl into a hug, planting a kiss on her head before hoisting her over her shoulder and onto her back. “And what fine adventures have you been up to?” She questioned her daughter as she strode across the sand. “Any schemes I should know about?”

“Speech.”
