Sound the Bugles
Talk about the right place at the right time. Bowen had just been traipsing through the ridge when the loud trumpet of an elephant met her ears. As she looked towards the sound, she noted a wolf frozen in place, its eyes wide as it stared at the pachyderm. The boy was at risk of getting crushed and she knew that she had to act.
Bowen flew forward, her lithe frame cutting easily across the bare landscape. Hind legs pushed hard and she leaped up into the air, tiny, sharp teeth latching onto the elephants tail. The bite caused a pained sound to erupt from the elephant and its focus was soon off of the frozen wolf. Instead, it spun, flinging the caramel and cream fae away from it and into one of the many big skulls littering the area. The air was knocked from the woman and she wheezed, trying hard to fill her lungs again before the elephant was upon her.
Caedes observed the unfolding chaos with detached interest, though he was intrigued, don't get it wrong, but he didn’t necessarily care about the wolves involved. As the woman intervened to save the pup, he snorted at the audacity of facing such a beast on her own small self, with only a pup as backup.
Flung away as she was, Caedes approached with a rush of energy, his expression unreadable as he barked at the elephant. "Well, that was quite the spectacle!" He remarked dryly towards her, his tone tinged with a hint of sarcasm as he tried to distract the great beast, lunging at its feet and leaping back as it began to flaunt its giant ears at him. Why was he helping? Dunno. Call it a good mood. He was interested in its power though, why not see what it could do?

Bloody hell... The woman wheezed and coughed a few times, drawing oxygen into her deprived lungs a few times before she was well enough to take in the scene. Another wolf had arrived and his snarky comment brought a low growl from the woman. He was mocking her, the son of a bitch. This bastard had no idea who she was or what she was capable of. Had the situation lacked an elephant, perhaps she would have shown him the error of his ways. Unfortunately... there was an elephant.
The boy harried the giant beast, biting at its legs and Bo couldn't let him go it alone. She ran forward once more, this time leaping up to bite the sensitive flesh of the inner thigh and belly. The elephant trumpeted, its legs buckling slightly against the pain, but it stayed upright. It was clearly rethinking its current situation, however. Its attacks lessened and it seemed to be looking for a way out instead.
Caedes arched a skeptical brow as Bowen struggled to regain her composure, her defiant growl in response to his comment only serving to amuse him further. Clearly, she possessed a fiery spirit, but he remained unmoved by her display of aggression. The brute continued to give his metal bites to the elephants feet, maneuvering around its swinging and its legs, leaping up to take a bite of its abdomen with wicked ferocity.
Unfortunately, he met with that small woman there, offering her a smirk as he moved in tandem with her. His obsidian mass delivering rending bites to the back of the elephant’s forelegs now.

Even though her mouth was full of elephant, when the big, scarred brute came up beside her to also bite at the beasts belly, she spared him another growl and a narrowing of her vibrant, emerald eyes. Just enough to let him know that he was on her shit list even though he was helping out.
The elephant decided that enough was enough. It turned and shambled off, big ears waving and tail tucked in defeat. Bowen had released her hold on its tender skin the moment that the tides had turned. The small fae licked the blood from pink lips, watching as the boy followed the elephant for a time just to make sure that it wouldn't change its mind.
The brute laughed at the small woman as she made her hostility be known. His own ivory fangs gleamed as he grinned. Caedes was amused. Thoroughly amused. With his efforts not for naught, and the blood dripping down his lips to prove it, he maneuvered under the elephant's limbs, giving out barks of warning and nips as it decided to retread.
Then, he watched as the boy continued his chase, confident now, he supposed. And there went that woman, what a good natured soul. Making sure the pup was safe. He snorted, his skull whirling around as he set to leave them to their folly.
