It was not a polar bear that awaited him this time. Instead, a fucking tiger prowled into view, its golden eyes gleaming with predatory intent. Funny how it wasn’t in the jungle or a swamp or something. The beast's sleek muscles rippled beneath its fur as it sized up its opponent, an apex predator of nature poised to strike.

Caedes braced himself, his stance solid and unwavering, fury at being targeted by the cat plain on his features.

With a feline snarl, the tiger charged, its powerful strides devouring the ground between them with alarming speed. Caedes met the oncoming onslaught head-on, his movements a blur of calculated precision as he evaded the lethal swipes of razor-sharp claws. He exchanged a few bites of his own, keeping the tiger at a distance so it could not wrap it’s flexible body around him and go for his throat.
