As ivory pads set foot in the field, the petite red canine looked around. It was beautiful. The moonlight shone on the meadow, a slight breeze disturbing the silent night. The she-wolf stepped forward and a chill passed through her as the frostbitten ground made contact with her pads. Exhaling a sigh of content, Grace continued on. Her coat, ranging from reds to browns, lies flat against her frame and her tail low as a gesture of calm relaxation. Reaching the base of the prairie, her rump met the ground as she looked around once more. Perked ears rose in the utter stillness, listening for any sound possible. Green optics glowed into the darkness that surrounded her. She was going to become two years old in winter, which was almost here.Almost a year before she had left her parent to live on her own. Grace loved it. Being independent was great, yet also lonely. Not seeing another wolf in nearly a moon. Still inexperienced at fighting, that's dangerous for a wolf.

The petite wolf closed her brilliant green eyes for a moment then reopened. Everything looked the same, smelt the same. Sighing in relief that another wolf wasn't there, Grace could be reassured.

Drake

Dark stockings brought him here, to this place. Though where he was he didn't know. He knew he was in the North, far from the familiar cove he had come to call home, and on the search for his brother. He had no idea that his sister was in the lands as well, looking for him. For now, each one of the trio would be lost to one another. The time had grown late, the cold was forming on his whiskers though not as much as it would have were it winter. But even with this, he could tell it would be coming soon. He didn't know how winters were in this world, but in Australian they weren't too bad. To him, they were manageable...but here? A whole different story he thought.

A scent would carry over to him upon the winds, foreign and unfamiliar to the young man. He decided he would approach, perhaps she would know of his lost brother. Though Drake himself hadn't even found a sign nor scent of his dark pelted half. He didn't know why he left, but surely he would find out should he find him. It wasn't long before a figure of varying shades of reds and browns appeared within his range of vision. Carefully he would approach, knowing that these lands in particular were dangers to tread. He heard of all the things going on with the Ice Pack, and didn't want to run into trouble. He stopped a yard or two from the woman, his throat clearing to alert her that he was here before he spoke. "Hello there, I don't mean to bother you or anythin' but I was wondering if you've seen a wolf 'round here named Jet?" He inquired the question as politely as he could, his australian accent seeping into his words.

Still looking out in the horizon, Grace was barely alert. Frost had formed on each barb of her fur. The petite woman shook herself, hoping to warm herself. When the unfamiliar spoke behind her, her heart sank and she spun her head around standing her frame up with it. How had this wolf sneak up on her? She didn't know if he was harmful or not, he spoke calmly and he had a foreign accent. A tall slender wolf stood before her. This man was white all over with brilliant aqua optics, and yet he had jet black down his legs and around his ears. His scent was definable different and he was looking for a man named Jet? Honestly, she had never heard such a name.

Hesitating before she spoke Grace laid her ears back a tad. This wolf was obviously in shape and could easily outrun her. Green looked into blue and the red canine tried to speak her softest. "Hello. Jet? Not that I'm aware of, no I haven't." Seeing the wolf just stand there, Grace sat on her rump and scratched one ear. "Haven't heard the name at all actually." She smiled slightly, looking the male over. "You aren't from her are you? If you don't mind me asking' ya." Grace twisted her head around to her frost covered body and shook once more, her thick coat rolling back and forth.
