After hanging out with Haydee for a while, trixy had excused herself and resumed the search for her friend.frank was still in the community area, enjoying himself among other prey type animals. She loved that he was relaxing here.

Her search had her nose to the ground and had lead her to the creek area. To some dug out hole in the ground. She sat outside it and with a smile and a wagging tail she called for gav to come out. Gav! Wanna hang out?" she was happy to have found her friends new den. Or at least that's what she assumed it was.

Something had happened to him and Gavroche wasn't sure what it was. At first he thought maybe he was just stressed, some fur and feathers falling out… but now he was completely nude. He had grabbed a spare cloak from the family dens and shifted to another den, his mother’s and father’s old one, in Cattail Creek. He felt embarrassed and… scared too. After losing his brother, Gavroche wasn't sure what his mom would make of his current predicament. It wasn't like he could hide forever but… He had been out trying to hunt when he heard Trixy’s call. His head, covered by the head of the cat hide he wore, snapped up at once and he groaned. Not good… he didn't want her to see him like this… but she was on the path to get back to his den. He sighed, moving toward a bush and slipping into it to help hide himself as he calls back to her. “Err.. now isn't a good time Trixy! I uh… I'm infectious!” Well… maybe he was? Either way he didn't want her seeing him looking like a skinned rabbit. "Speech," 'Thought.'

She blinked when she heard her friend call out from behind her somewhere. Her head turned in his direction and canted to the side. She'd not known he was out, but that was ok. Until he finished that statement. He was sick! Oh no!

She stood and moved in his direction. "if your sick we need to get you in bed and I'll go find one of the healers! Its important to waste no time!" did she know he was trying to hide from her? No. So trixy used that nose of hers and those ears to move in his direction. Her face full of worry for her friend.

Gavroche cursed as Bellatrix said that if he was sick they needed to get him back into bed. No, they most definitely did not need to get him looked at! “No! You don’t understand, mom CAN’T see me like this!” He shuffled into the bush more as he hunkered down. Great, now what?! He could feel his mind racing. He’d really put his foot in his mouth at mentioning he was infectious. He groaned loudly. Knowing his friend she wouldn’t give up on finding him now… should he run? Try to get away from her before she could find him? He began to creep out of the bush and, once clear, he broke into a run.

Running was about the only choice now.

His legs and muzzle, one of the only things that could be seen under the large skin he was using as a cloak, were a bare pink that betrayed his lack of fur. It was weird, feeling the breeze roll across his skin as he tried to find a place to hide. Realizing that he was still too far from the den, Gavroche turned toward the nearest try and started to climb. His dexterous digits clung to the wood as he inched himself up, hoping he’d get up far enough for Trixy to miss him.

"Speech," 'Thought.'

She stopped when he shouted. Her head cocked to the side and confusion colored her face. No? But when you were sick you had to go to bed and a healer needed to look at you. But he didn't want that? Strange. Maybe he just didn't wanna take medicines?

He wasn't coughing. And in a second he was darting from his hiding spot. She had one of two options and trixy wasn't gonna let someone be sick if she could help it. So the choice was made. She took off after him and was right on his heals as best she could be. He had a head start on her though. And then he did something strange, he jumped up a tree. She stopped and tilted her head as he did. Her rump meeting the ground and her paws tucking under her neatly. His actions weren't adding up to being sick.

"You're not really sick are you... why are you wearing a cloak Gav its nice and sunny out?" she was smart enough to figure out that something else had to be up. She'd seen the cloak but hadn't seen anything else yet. She was stubborn, and the boy wasn't acting like the Gav she'd come to be best friends with. Her ears pricked.
