One-Man Raid
:)
By the time he found the sneaky bastards, he was well and truly shitfaced and the idea that he should raid them - by himself - seemed like a fucking riot. He didn't have access to any soot or herbs to roll in to cover his scent, but that didn't matter, right? A few squiggles of foxfire haphazardly painted on his mask would have done the trick, but apparently at some point he'd lost most of it and only had a bare toe-tip of the stuff, so all he had was a silly lopsided heart he'd smeared impulsively on his cheek instead. Another bottle fortified him, with a just-in-case additionally slung across his shoulders, and he set out confidently to steal some more booze and to kidnap himself a princess to fight with.
By some miracle he did not break his neck making it to the border in the dark - suddenly he was double offended because they'd taken his homeland as theirs, though he only cared because he was looking for reasons to be offended - and somehow didn't fall into the ravine either as he stumbled his way through that land, occasionally catching up the bottle in his jaws to gulp some down. He started out being sneaky before giving up and just wandering, before stumbling to a stop under a big tree. He shoved his mask up, yawning and scratching at his face. Ok, so if he was a little baby princess waiting to be kidnapped to go on an adventure, where would he be? Hiking his leg against the big tree to piss on it - partly because he'd had way too much to drink and his bladder was screaming, but also to mark it graffiti style like 'Wendigo wuz here' - he hummed a silly tune as he considered where to look.

Deluge was a few bottles deep herself as she strolled down the centre of the Ravine. The distant green bobbing of a heart shaped marking in the distance caught her eye and she cackled like a hyena when the giant man lifted his leg to unwittingly piss against the base of the tree her mother had built her treehouse in. "Yer like tha' thing attached or what?" She called out in greeting, accompanied by the characteristic clinking of bottles slung over her hip. Sure they were meant to be on high alert or whatever, but Deluge hardly saw the need to race in fangs bared in the first instance. It was difficult to make out under the cover of the trees, in the cover of the night, but to her newly blueing eyes, it almost looked like the guy held similar purplish hues to her mother. For all she knew, he could be family.

The unholy snort that left Deluge's snout at his retort was entirely unladylike. "'F it were anyone else yer might not 'ave th' option after pissin' on th' Raid Queen's tree." Her tone made it clear she didn't give a damn one way or the other, in fact, maybe she'd been on her way to do the same herself? She would neither confirm nor deny, no-siree.
Her feline paws extended their claws ever so slightly as she matched his grin with one of her own. He went on to make his request and Deluge could guess just who he was enquiring after based on the description, but she decided to play this game just a little longer. Cal was more than free of the Raiders, and Deluge would much rather keep her free of anyone she didn't want to be stuck with for as long as she was able to anyway. Shame she couldn't do the same for herself. "Yer won' find any princess's 'round these parts, but I reckon bitey, pastel, an' mean I can fit well enough." Her half length tail waved at her back, her head dropped to sit level with her spine, "I don' much fancy killin' yer, but I got plenty'o booze. Come an' get it."
"speech"He did have to squint at the stranger doubtfully when she claimed herself as fitting his description. Wait, no, this wasn't... no, no, she'd definitely been paler, and bluer, and she'd definitely have bitten him by now. Also, she definitely didn't glow or have antlers. Probably. This was not the princess baby, but a different woman. Surely. He looked her up and down slowly, his grin shifting to show more fang than charisma. Well, she did technically fit his description, didn't she? And she was offering so nicely to stand in as his entertainment, wasn't she? A shame she wouldn't be trying to kill him, but that was probably for the best. Too much of that form of entertainment and someone really would slit his throat. "I'm sure I could change your mind," he purred, amusement glinting in his eyes as he downed the last of the bottle and dropped it to roll between them, a metaphorical line in the sand. His voice deepened to bloody velvet, all trace of his drunken slur gone. "Gladly."
He didn't just cross that line, he leapt it, throwing himself at the Raider without a further thought of anything else that should be considered (like, should you really be attacking someone on their own turf? when you're completely hammered? was that a smart move? definitely not) - a clawed forefoot reaching forward to attempt to sweep her forelegs out from under her as he sought to slam his weight into her chest, jaws flashing out in what was for him intended playfully, to try to catch one of her antlers and use it as leverage to force her head down.

"Don' worry she's th' only one got'erself fooled wi' tha'." Certainly there was something afoot, but Deluge wasn't one to show her hand just yet. Not entirely sober herself, her grin grew wide when he threw the bottle down and she shifted her weight back onto her rear legs to meet his charge. The spike in adrenalin was reflected in the way her coat glow surged. Clawed bracers swept her front right leg, the left she had swung out in a counter strike, claws extended to grasp his shoulder. She sacrificed an antler to teeth for a clear shot at the thick fur and loose skin just behind his left cheek. She had said she didn't fancy killing him, but she'd have a great time trying to make him eat dirt.

Deluge laughed around the cheek fur between her teeth, it wasn't much but it was better than air. Her opponent was heavier than she was, and as he reared up and dropped down she had to relinquish her hold on his shoulder to brace against the downward force. She would try to use his two legs on the ground to her advantage, twisting her head and pushing her weight forward to try and topple the dark male over. Falling seemed inevitable at this point, but she hardly minded at all. If she managed to get him pinned beneath her she might even try to steal a kiss. Her best bet was to try and tumble enough to come out on top, but regardless of the outcome at this point she thought he had at least earned one of her bottled for humouring her, it might even get back to her sister eventually.

Slowing to a walk, her eyes widen slightly as she watches Deluge and Wendigo tussle with each other. Coming to a stop, she looks first from Wendigo and then to Deluge, her head canting slightly. "What're you doin' with my boyfriend?" Calliope asks, her muzzle pulling up into a humored grin. Obviously Wendigo isn't her boyfriend, but why not cause some flustering between the two of them?
Warning: Calliope is callous, rude, and unpredictable. Do NOT expect nice things from her.
