A ghost would fly across the Mangrove, broad paws launching her from root to root with a practiced grace, until she reached a certain part of the territory belonging to Ludicael. It was a place she knew well, one she often came to when she was meeting with her best friend, Siarvon. She had no idea where her partner in crime was constantly disappearing to, but she was so used to being alone, it hardly affected her. Tonight, she sat upon the ground in the clearing, the thick grasses cushioning her as she lifted her head to the sky. Eerie silver pools reflected the kaleidoscope of light within the sky, all the stars within the great black blue abyss showing up on the nearly mirror like surface of her moonstone orbs.

The moon was but a tiny sliver within the sky, hardly casting any light upon the alabaster damsel's pelt, turning her into but a shadow, nearly invisible within the darkness. It was at this time she would remember her parents, her siblings, all dead, all gone. She had no one, no one but her pack, her friends. Lily, her mother, she always saw as the bright star in the sky she saw as she tilted her head slightly to the left. Her father, the even larger, brighter star nearly on top of it. Her little sister, the itty bitty star next to her mother's, her twin brother's, the normal sized star next to her fathers. Her old pack surrounded them, protecting her family from harm up there. Sighing, she stared at those stars, and was lost in thought within her infinite mind, reminiscing.

It was beautiful here. Magnus had just been wandering around the pack territory. He had found this Aurora here. Her beautiful ivory fur reflected in the moonlight was stunning, Magnus could see the stars reflected in her eyes. Be stood there, out of sight for a few minutes, mesmerized by her. Be hadn't fallen so hard for anyone since... Sierra. But this was different, she was truly amazing, and most importantly. She was not the am a woman who had died months ago.

He eventually plucked up the courage and stepped out into the clearing. "It is lovely here, the stars are so bright," he paused for a moment "you are truly beautiful." He turned to look at her, to see if she was offended.

Aurora

The ivory woman was startled by a voice invading her ears suddenly, and turned to see a familiar cream and black pelted man. His compliments still shocked her, since none had ever paid her any. She smiled sheepishly at Magnum, then patted the space next to her with her thick white tail. Simply an invitation to stargaze with her, nothing more. She barely knew him, so she would offer only things she would a friend. "Is there anyone watching you from up there?" She asked him, knowing that there would be someone, just not who. Hopefully she wasn't going too far, asking something too personal. She turned her eerie gaze once more to the stars, watching the flickering lights that were all she knew of her parents.

OOC: sorry it's short, I got nothing atm...

She patted the area bedside her. Be began to trot up to her, his tail swishing playfully behind him, the grass tickling his tail. When he reached her he sat gently down beside her, glad for the coolness that the night brought. "No there is no one," he paused, "It's lovely to see you here, I did not expect to find anyone in a place so desolate. I apologise if I intruded. I will leave if you wish." He bowed his head at her then looked to the sky, the stars could be seen in his bright blue eyes, they were his mother's eyes. His mother was so playful and happy, well that had all changed when the female, Haradifh, had come and killed his mother, so that she could have his father, and the pack, for herself. That was when, his father had died, soon after be had heard his mate was dead, he through himself off a cliff, leaving the pack to Haradifh. The evil hag. He bad been alone since the moment his father died. He was not alone here.

Be would ask her a question, nothing too personal, he did not want to pry. "So, is Song a good friend of yours? He asked lightheartedly. He squished his tail behind him, he coulx not sit still, it was like he had some supernova of energy stored inside him. His eyes danced in the moonlight. Something about her made him even more hyper and energetic, it was like being around her turned increased and decreased his supernova. He would wait for an answer, a d if she did not want to answer, so be it. He would leave. Not bother her again, well he probably would, but that was just how he felt. It was strange. He met her eye.

The grass rustled as he sat beside her, fidgeting with an emotion the woman thought was either happiness, nervousness, or he was in desperate need of relieving himself. As he spoke, she was surprised to find there was no one in the stars watching over him.

"Nonsense, Magnus. I can always use company, since my partner in crime, Siarvon, is constantly disappearing to who knows where." She told him with a chuckle. She had always loved that title for her best friend, it was so fun. She looked over at the male, watching his face. His eyes reflected the stars, much like her own were said to do. His question interested her, for not many would ask something like that.

"Song is my only other friend, my only female friend, at least. She is also kind of like my other best friend." She explained, realizing she had such a tiny amount of friends, she let out a little giggle, shaking her head at the ridiculous amount.

"And what of you, are there any friends you left behind?" She inquired, curious. Magnus seemed like the type to be able to make friends easily, so no doubt there would be someone, be it a best friend, or even an obsessed fan, or even, her infinite mind had calculated the massive odds stacked against her, a mate.

He asked him about his friends, well he had never had any real friends apart from his brothers and sister. His brothers and sisters were magnificent, kind, loving, understanding, accepting. He loved them for that. He was very much like his siblings. "Jace, Alec and Clary, my brothers and sister, were my only true friends. I met one girl, I loved her, but she passed away." He looked to the horizon, he loved the infinity of the horizon, it would never end, always there. Again he had shared so much more with these wolves than he had ever shared with anyone. But lying would get him no where. "I left my earlier pack after my mother and father died, leaving the pack to an evil bitch." He Growled and pasted a look of hatred on his face.

Siblings as his only friends, while it insinuated an inability to be as social as she expected, it was endearing. She smiled at that admittance, enjoying getting to know the man. Her tail beat against the ground a few times, stopping short as he spoke next. His mate had died. My condolences, Magnus. She rested her delicate cranium on his shoulder, in an attempt at comforting him. He was so warm, even in the cool nights of Autumn. She sighed, listening to the rest of his replies. His parents had died as well, which broke her heart, since it was not of natural causes. She too had lost hers, and knew the agony inside one felt afterwards. His growl rumbled through his frame, she felt it in her skull as it vibrated slightly.

One cannot change the past, only accept it. She murmured, her soft, silky voice tinged with the wisdom of going through the exact same thing. The icy rose lifted her cranium, looking at him with her consuming moonstone orbs. I too lost my entire family, so various things, but all caused by a single fire. She whispered, her eyes filled with a sorrow one could simply not grasp. Most of my pack was killed in the escape, but the few that survived endured the journey with us. My younger sister was carried off by a hawk, my twin brother, mauled by a bear, my father and the rest of the pack, killed by an ambush of rogues. My mother died of starvation before we could make it to these lands. She told him, her voice hoarse with emotion, with tears unshed, with the horrors she had seen. She sighed, turning her eerie gaze to the stars and simply staring at her family, walking within the stars now, watching over her.

She pressed her head delicately onto his shoulder, her silky fur meeting hers. So she too had lost her family, he felt sad for her but, a part of him agreed with her comment "One cannot change the past only accept it." She was beautiful, part of her beauty was the sorrow in her eyes, the sorrow that showed that she would not easily be crushed. "I cannot pretend I understand, each person deals with grief in their own way of dealing with grief, but you have my sympathies." Her voice was raw with emotion, but she did not cry. She was the same as Magnus, he had not shed a single tear since he had lost Sierra.

She listened to him speak, interested by his admittance. It made her happy that he was only sympathetic, and was not overloading her with pity. Sighing, she looked back to the man, and decided to change the topic. She didn't want to remain talking about such depressing things. "What do you think of Ludicael so far?" She asked him, curious. She loved Ludicael for many reasons, her packmates, the territory, the freedom of being an Orbita. A rustle in the bushes caught her attention, her deceptively delicate cranium snapping towards the sound. A small rabbit left the undergrowth, nibbling at something on the ground. The woman dropped into a crouch, stalking towards the creature with liquid grace. Her long legs ate up the ground quickly, but silently, and soon she was within strike distance. Launching herself into the air, she landed precisely on top of the rabbit, it's brown fur being traded for white. It's frail spine snapped beneath her powerful paws, the rodent falling limp to the ground.

Aurora lifted it with her powerful jaws, careful not to let her sharp pearl daggers pierce it's flesh and send blood everywhere, making a giant mess. Taking her place beside the male called Magnus once again, she dropped the rabbit, it's dust and snow hues mottled together, making it semi visible in the darkness. "If you would like, we can share it." She told him, always one to be kind to others. She sat, waiting for his reply. She wrapped her thick tail around her paws for some more warmth, twin raven's feathers dancing for a few breaths, then laying flush with her silky alabaster fur. Since winter was on it's way, her thick fur was now almost completely impenetrable to cold. her silver pools remained on Magnus, as she awaited his reply.

A change of subject was welcomed. "Well probably the kindness of the members. Although the mangrove is beautiful in it's own way." He looked at her and batted his long, midnight black eye lashes, his blue eyes skimmed over her features.Suddenly he heard a small quiet noise, a rodent. Aurora moved so quickly that he felt like if he had blinked he would miss it. And she pounced on the rodent. She snapped it's spine easily, with grace and power.

She offered to share it, kind of her. "Thank you very much that is very kind. I would love to share it. You are a skilled hunter as well as a fine woman." He looked at the rodent lying on the ground, as nondescript and unimpressive as it was in life. When he thought about it, all life was easy to snuff out, be it a strong, wise wolf, or a pitiful rodent. He nudged the rabbit toward her, letting her decide it.

A reply was heard by the woman, his favourite parts of Ludicael. Ah the mangrove; it was her favourite too. She remembered her first time exploring the mangrove, when she fell in the water and found it started glowing around her. She had definitely been freaked out, at least until she had found out why it did such a thing.

"I particularly enjoy the glowing water in the mangrove, it makes fishing really easy." The angelic furred maiden commented with a small giggle. At his comment on her hunting skills, as well as his compliment. The ivory dame glanced up and grinned at him.

"Thank you, Magnus. You are a kind man." She whispered, beating her tail against the ground before taking a bite of the rabbit, tearing it in half and snapping up her meal quickly. When winter came, meals like this would not be happened upon so easily. So, at this point in time, she revelled in the tasty meat.

She talked about glowing waters, he must find that it sounded beautiful. "I have not yet seem that, you must show me sometime." It was so pretty here, there was nothing special about the area, but the vague moon and the bright stars, made it so much more romantic.

Aurora halved the rabbit and tore her half to shreds. He too sank his teeth into the soft, flesh. It as still warm. It was delicious. Well, for a rabbit. Be dId love venison. He wondered if you would get deer here. "I do love venison, do you get any deer around here? Have you had venison before." He asked, having just finished his meal.

The stars were slowly fading and the day growing nearer, the crisp, cool autumn air was nice. We was not too hot, but not too cool.

She chuckled as he told her he had yet to see the iridesent waters within the mangrove, for they were inpossible to miss unless you hadn't been within the swampy terrain of the Mangrove. "Well, after you finish, we can head out and see them. Night is the best time to see the glow, since it's dark." She mused, looking over at Magnus, licking the blood from her lips with a long salmon tongue. She smiled at him, her ebony, blood kissed lips curving upwards to reveal her pinkish razors in a lupine grin.

At his next few questions, she tilted her ivory cranium to the side in thought, going through the vast stores of knowledge within her infinite mind. "There aren't many deer in the mangrove, since this really isn't the place for them to optimally live. Though I have eaten them, we mostly hunt them either around this place, or outside pack lands, where the area is more forested." She explained, meeting his gaze squarely. Standing, she looked down at him and grinned. "Let me show you the famed glowing water of Lover's Mangrove. At least, if you're finished." She said, her voice light with joy, her accent just a touch heavier, vocals an octave louder. She giggled, her vocalization of joy reminiscent of a mockingbird's song, sweet, melodious, beautiful.

She liked the blood from her lips and grinned. "I would much like to see the waters you speak of. I have only been metres within the mangrove, clearly not far enough." And he grinned. He then licked the blood of his lips too.

"We must hurry before day is upon us." At her melodious giggle, he smiled, it was a sweet, lovely sound. He too stood. He wished to see these beautiful, alluring waters. Her grin revealed her razor sharp teeth. When they stood side by side, she was a few inches taller than him, but he did not mind. She was sweet and smart, and not to forget beautiful.

He turned to face get and began to back away, still looking her in the eye. Hoping he was going the right way. "If this is not the correct way and I end up in a swamp I shall be most annoyed." He smiled and looked at her.

She could not help but burst into laughter, her time with Magnus full of utmost joy at the moment. "Well come on then!" She called, beckoning with her tail for him to follow her, she leapt into the shadows and was off. Long, two metre strides ate up ground like nothing, broad paws striking the terra with a surprising lack of sound. Lithe, but strong muscles rippled the smoothest of undertows beneath the river of her alabaster pelt. Soon, the ghostly fae's ebony claws clicked against the roots of the Mangrove, and she stopped short, spinning on a pair of roots and waiting for the man to catch up. Deciding to surprise him when he caught up, she began to wave her long banner over the surface of the water, brushing it like a painter upon a canvas, watching it light up and reflect off her pristine snowy derma.

She could just picture his face as he caught up, the shock, maybe even awe, interest, possibly. Her infinite mind was racing with all the calculations, and she was excited to see what would happen next.

Aurora laughed her sweet laugh and bounded ahead, left him in the dust. He laughed and began to follow her scent. He began to run, her scent was leading deep into the mangrove. He was not as familiar with the rough, rooty terrain as she was so he could not move as quickly, or as sleek as her.

When her reached her he gasped, it was amazing, like she had said, it was glowing. She would surely see the shock on his face, he could not contain it. "Its beautiful." He gasped. "It's so...so... it's truly amazing. It's as beautiful as you." He was at a loss for words, his compliment was clumsy and stupid. He instantly cursed himself silently.

Her grin could only broaden as she watched Magnus' face, his eyes filled with awe, wonder, his jaw was practically on the ground. She watched the glow of the water fade, her ears picking up the nearly incoherent stutter of amazement that fell from the cream and ebony wolf's mouth. His compliment was sweet, and Aurora chuckled. "You are sweet, Magnus. Go ahead, touch the water, that's what makes it glow." She whispered, demonstrating by lifting a broad ivory paw and touching it lightly, skimming her long claws over the water and creating smooth, glowing designs that slowly faded to dark again.

Sitting easily upon the thick root below her, she intently examined the male's face, watching, waiting for him to follow her lead, patiently waiting for his next reaction. She herself had sat alone at one point and played in the water like a pup, giggling and splashing the incandescent water about. It was the most fun she had had in a long time, since her family had... She shook out her ivory fur, ridding her infinite mind of those thoughts. They would only lead to sorrow, and she had not time for such an emotion.

Magnus watched as Aurora traced her paw through the water, making it glow. He sat next to her and began to trace beautiful, swirling patterns in the water. Watching them glow, then slowly fade. He could have sat there for hours, just playing with the glowing waters, but he had company, so he had to restrain himself. He grinned a silly, lopsided grin as he skideled with the water. Laughing at the sheer, well he did not know what, perhaps it was Aurora, he just didn't know. He was so happy. He hadn't been this happy in such a long time.

He took his law out the water and looked at Aurora and smiled. "Thank you very much for showing me this. It is the most amazing thing I have seen in a long while." He laughed and batted his long black lashes.

He did not want to leave, he wanted to stay here with Aurora forever. Happy and content with this beautiful woman by his side. "I wish that this moment could last forever," he sighed and looked at her, starting feel into her silvery eyes.

Aurora would watch the childlike giddiness that would fill Magnus' entire being, lending her a feeling of accomplishment for making another happy. His words would make her heart swell with joy, moonstone orbs sparkling with mirth. Call her a stickler for making wolves happier than a rabbit in a carrot garden, but she was nearly addicted to the feeling it gave her.

"Ah, but Magnus, if this moment lasted forever, there would be no time to make new happy moments." She told him, her voice hushed, otherworldly tones swirling through the air to the duo toned man's ears. She let her delicate cranium rest on his shoulder, eyelids drooping with exhaustion. Magnus' heartbeat was soothing, like the beat of an ancient drum counting out a lullaby. Her jaws stretched open in a yawn, revealing large pearl daggers, and a long salmon tongue. When they closed once more, she lifted her head and looked at Magnus.

"I fear it is time I head to sleep. If you would like, you may stay with me until you find a site of your own." She offered, her voice husky with exhaustion. Standing, she leapt onto the next root, and began the trek back to her clearing, a different one from the place she met her friend Siarvon, when he was home. Not waiting for the man to catch up, for she knew he would, her long strides carried her towards home.

Breaking into the familiar clearing, she headed for the shadows where she made her bed. Folding her willowy frame onto the soft bed of ferns, a cushion protected by brambles she had laboriously weaved to create a tall, but relatively shielding awning over her bed. Tucking her tail over her nose, she heaved a heavy sigh of relief to be home, and closed her eyes. When Magnus appeared, she would tell him where he could sleep.

"Yes. But that is true. Where would the time be, for things are forgotten as new things are found." he was not even entirely sure that that made sense, but oh well.

He smiled at her comment, and looked at her, she looked exhausted. "That is very kind Aurora." he smiled. Aurora stood and ran ahead. She did not wait for him. He sighed and got up. He began to run, carefully, and not as fast as her. He was beginning to get more familiar with the rooty terrain of the mangrove. He followed her scent back, when he reached her. She was in a different clearing to the one they been in earlier. She was curled in a ball on a bed of ferns. She looked vulnerable lying down, not nearly as ferocious or lively. She was like a bay animal. "Where can I sleep?" he asked quietly, not wanting to disturb her if she was asleep.
